Specs. Been to pick up my new ones today, £362. I am very short sighted and to make them look reasonable have to buy the highest index lenses - about £150 each eye
I've tried the cheap online suppliers but I can't wear the pair I bought from goggles4u. Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
For me it's chocolate... and toiletries! I have a whole cupboard full of toiletries (bought when on offer!) but everytime I see them on offer, I still buy them! Same with cleaning products - gonna use what I've got, then go Old Style with my vinegar/bicarb

With my OH, it's lunch at work and papers! My next mission is to get him to take packed lunches!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -

Too many toiletries and perfume and sports things I never use - must get on my bike over weekend.
Have enough perfume to last a few years now (if it keeps) and probably enough toiletries for at least 3 months without having to venture to get more. Have friends coming over in a few weeks and I hope that they don't look in the set of cabinets with all the toiletries or they'll laugh!0 -

Chocolate and dvd's - I haven't bought any films for at least 2 months, so I am getting better - my amazon wish list is about a mile long though - I refuse to pay over a fiver per film though - so I usually get at least 3 for £15 and have free postage (and nectar points) alot cheaper than renting - and if there is a new film out I fancy I wait for DD to rent it

Money that I could save gets spent on chocolate and wine but I've cut down a lot on this. Petrol - which I need to get to work is the most annoying spend it's about £120 a month even driving at 60 and walking local journeys.Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well, I like a nice bottle of wine once a week and it lasts till about Wednesday or Thursday for the two of us but that means that if I buy wine I have to buy the men in the house beer and four cans is not enough to last them beyond the weekend so its usually eight. Also we have curry from the supermarket on Saturday evenings and I buy books as there is no convenient library and I cant do without a book on the go. Luckily Asda books are cheap and I mean to sell them all on Amazon eventually. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

It won't be clothes as i managed to buy my summer wardrobe from the charity shops for £20 maximum
It is probably sweets, crisps and comfort foods. It is about a tenner a week so thats £500 a year which would pay off a significant amount of my debts
But i don't go out as i only seem to have virtual friends, maybe if i did i wouldn't need the comfort food but may spend a tenner a week on going out
Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
