Had a lovely morning walk with the DogStar, much better than a hurtle round the block in the rain!
WM is working hard so I'm off to do some paid stuff then I'll have a :coffee: break while I hang it out.

  • Good morning everyone, I am feeling rough this morning as I was up last night with sickness however its like a summers day here so should help to keep me motivated. So far this morning I have made a start on the laundry and decluttered DH to work and DS to school. I am going to get the first load of laundry outside and then grab some breakfast whilst dd is still asleep and decide on what I'm going to tackle first.

    Morning!

We have the sun too! Curtains are out on the rotary, but they were almost dry anyway. I'll put another wash on later, have some whites to do. Kiddies are turfed out in the garden so I've sorted the conservatory, dusted, wiped, toys all away, floor done.

Kitchen dailies done so still looking good after yesterday's blast!

They are swimming soon, I'm going shopping!

Hi there - an early post for me! Just had breakfast and, for those bird lovers, I'm putting out food twice a day now - baby starlings and an unidentified yellow/green/grey bird nesting in one of the little boxes - a first in that one, so I'm thrilled!!

Changing the bed, cleaning round the whole place, shopping for sick friend, then OH is mowing lawns and hoovering through while I get my hair done.

I'll sort out packing & gifts etc when I get back, as we are away this weekend, sort out cat food etc for cat sitter, and then I'm out for a meal with some ex- colleagues, for a fine old natter!

We leave tomorrow, so I'll be AWOL for a few days. Good vibes to everyone if I don't get on until next week.

Lamewolf and Mrs M, you both did it! I've cobbled the cat's toy once more and put and old sock and more catnip over half of it, so it may last a bit longer!! Pigpen, could your old cat have a thyroid problem? That sometimes make them yowl. Poor little sausage!! What's that? You'll turn him into sausages if he keeps yowling!! I just :) cats.

    Cheers, R x

No sun down south yet but hey it's not raining and that is good enough.

I've bunged the first wash on the maiden for the moment to empty the machine to start wash 2. I'll be at cricket for most of tomorrow so I need to get lots done today including a food shop, sort out school shoes for DS3.

Off to the shower and then it' flinging and flying all day.

Must cut the back grass too. DS3 would do this but has a very sore elbow so I don't want him straining it with the heavy mower.
