Ok am done for the night. Remind me NOT to steam clean a floor with open toed slippers and no sock on ooouucchhh burned big toe!!!!!! I was trying to put the brush and shovel behind door while holding steam mop:(

    In that HHC I :-

    Cleaned rest of worktops
Cleaned windows (inside) window cleaner does outside
    Dysoned all the dusty blinds
    Cleaned window ledges
    Cleaned dining table
    Hoovered kitchen floor
    Steam cleaned big toe
Steam cleaned kitchen, small hall & bathroom floor

Off to spend some time with ds, dd is in a huff with me because I had the cheek to say she hadn't been washed in the shower - she was in less than a minute so door is slammed shut in her room, my cue to keep out :rotfl:

Macpep - Condolences. Families can be so difficult. Ouch with the burnt toe but is the steam cleaner any good and is there one you would recommend?

Pigpen - tea & battenburg here :o but I've only just put my work laptop to bed so no flying done today. KH??? Meaneth what? I don't know how you keep your temper with your wonderful family.

Dancemum - hope OH's back is not so bad today.

Cyclingyorkie - my sympathies. DS has had ME since just before 10th birthday and he's 22 now. His ex was re-diagnosed after about 8 years and they've told her it's fibromyalgia. His gorgeous OH also has had ME since she was around 10 and is nearly 21. At least they understand how each other is feeling. Apparently they both have multiple food and chemical sensitivities and are vaccinating daily to combat this. It seems to be working! :T They are both gradually improving.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I envy some of you your families as there are only two of us and the DogStar rattling around in a 5 bed. :( DD is married with 2 gorgeous DGC and DS spends nearly all his time across the water with is OH and family - cleaner air, healthier peeps. We're going to Birmingham for dinner next Friday just so we can see them as they are literally on a flying visit for hospital appointments. Dublin - Birmingham, a day to recover, drive to Milton Keynes, a day to recover, Birmingham to Dublin.

    I really miss having them around. :( But......we have a cunning plan!:j

Anyway, flying didn't get very far at all today. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a little better. DH was at college today, despite it being half term, as they needed computer time. Anyway, he made Jools Pregnant Pasta for dinner and did all the clearing up while I was working. He's under instruction to do a bit of catching up tomorrow where he can as Mr T is delivering on Thursday and we're in Bristol on Saturday as I've got an ALSPAC appointment: fasting blood tests, dexa scans and more!

Well, I'm off for a bath then bed with a good book. I've got two observations in different parts of Cardiff tomorrow, home for lunch (as I have to drive past the end of the road anyway) then I'm meeting my last appointment in W***rose in Abergavenny. I may just have to have a :coffee:while I'm there. I should have been meeting her in a Care Home in Monmouth but she broke her ankle a few months ago, went back to work and now her ankle's giving her gyp again. I have to meet her as she's due to complete soon so I said I'd meet wherever it was convenient. :D
