    Morning all

Bit wet here this morning but sun is trying to break through.

DS1 woke this morning with a horrid cough so decided to keep him home from nursery. Cancelled all my plans. Half an hour after Calpol though and he seems fine, badgering me for biscuits and cakes that we don't have

Don't know whether it's been mentioned and I missed it but I spotted this deal for pants for DH over on the dark side :p I got a 3 pack of trunks and a belt for £6.25 delivered with codes. Something to put away for Fathers Day ;) Thanks to OP

It's awful, no supervisions of medication, parents have fought to get her into a 24 hour supervised independent living house but I am not sure what the role of the supervisors at the shared house is as she is still over drinking and over dosing regularly. Not that I am saying the supervisor should do more - I genuinely don't know - but it obviously isn't enough support for her.

Its so wrong that vulnerable members of society don't get the help they need - I'm sure we all know of ridiculous things that money has been spent on that could have been put to much better use. :(

    Ninth Anniversary
Good morning everyone. Just back from visiting DD in Orlando on Sunday night, then last night we were at the Grampian Restaurant of the year award dinner. Son's new restaurant took the runner up spot. Not bad after 4 months but he has worked so hard. Very proud parents. It's been a whirlwind couple of days!

    Congratulations to ds :T:T:T

Working back to front today - trying to catch up with the bilge merchants first:D but think I am more of a backwards person :p

So good morning all - somebody has nicked the sun from my area and I would like it back - please and thank you.

Patty and I have the sun - sorry :p:D:p
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

:eek:How the heck did you do that :(

I'd like to say extreme wombling (:D) but it wasn't. I didn't actually think I had broken it so didn't bother with A&E till the next day but because it was still huge and the black and blue bruise stretched from the elbow all the way down to the wrist thought best get it checked out and a lot of nagging from HC.

Found out when we were away that we got a parking ticket from SRI whilst I was in A&E HC didn't bother to put a ticket on the car :(

Think I got off lightly - it could have been a lot worse.

Will post up 1 or 2 pics from our recent trip later on :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Good morning msers calling in from a warm Florida.
Hope I haven't missed much yet and hope all are well.
Its 7am over here and its a beautiful morning for me having to kick up a stink with Thomsons as the gave me the smallest car and have had to pay 200$ more.
Will check in when I can
Make sure you're wearing waterproofs by about 3PM! The rain's pretty reliable!

Why are you paying more for the smallest car?:o

Any ideas for a cheap parcel price to send a 7kg parcel to Northern Ireland. I usually use Hermes but they want too much for it to go there. Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

The cheapest through Parcels2Go was £22.oo with Yodel.
