Morning everyone, grotty day out there.
Luckily I don't have to go out much today, gotta get that spare room sorted so I will start on it today. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Absolutely amazing, 14 days today since her surgery and she looks as good as new. She had her aorta valve replaced in her heart so is cut from her neck to almost her navel. Its a long recovery time for this op, 6 - 12 months.
An 80 year old that is up dressed every day and sitting playing card games on her galaxy tab:rotfl:
She was moved earlier this week to the cottage hospital so a 45 mile round trip instead of 140 miles.
Many thanks for asking Claire. x
Fab news, :j:j
Amazing cake, I would be overjoyed to receive something so wonderful :T.
I'm gojng to attempt to make my ds a birthday cake next month. I'm currently searching for ideas. Making my mind up will hopefully be the hardest part.Trampolining!!! Overturned a back landing somersault and ended putting her arms out, right arm took full force of the rebound on the trampoline. Bone went through arm.
Luckily it has not affected use of any of her fingers and they say operation was a success. Hope no problems later on. She is very lucky she didn't break both of them.
I better add for anyone else reading this was not on a normal garden trampoline, a proper national competition type one.
Omg, that sounds horrific. Glad to hear that she should have no problems later on. XLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Lovely to be back in Scotland.......notActually its quite pleasant
No chance of catching up, seemed to have missed the last 2 threads with one thing and another, had a quick skim of this one though.
I wouldn't worry too much about airport security. End of last month I broke my elbow in 2 places - they tried to set it back in place with a cast but it moved and ended up having an operation to have a metal plate and pin fitted and a couple of screws. As you know I went on holiday recently and only set it off at Aberdeen but I probably only have a small amount of metal compared to your DD.
I'm lucky in that I don't have a cast on since the op but struggle to fully extend my arm now and i'm told this is really hard to get backAKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©

Hello Westvleteren
Good morning everyone, hope you'll all enjoy today, whatever you're doing.
Sorry to hear about your DD Tinyshoes. Tell the school examinations officer once half term is over. Some exam boards will slightly upgrade results for things like this, it's worth trying anyway. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Hope DD3 gets better soon TS :AAKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©
