  • Hello diary land!

Been missing in action for a while....oops :o No real reason, just busy, work/life etc and lack of motivation on the money front (naughty me).

Anyhow hubby and I had a week off work just mooching/sorting etc and we sat down and did a financial projection to clearing the debts. August 2014 should see me 100% debt free....we worked it out in a sensible, non crazy way allowing me more money and based it on a basic salary rather than any overtime I get etc.

This is where the hubby balances me as I have all kinds of crazy ideas to clear it by December, work ever hour of overtime and probably into an early grave...you get my drift??? Hubby's plan is clear, methodical and very much achievable if stuck too....which I of course will :)

I of course would love to achieve it before Aug 2014 so WILL do overtime but it's nice to know that I have an end date regardless. Can't tell you how amazing that feel and how motivating it is.

So, that's the debt business sorted. I will update some totals on here soon. As for me, nothing but being busy busy busy with work and life. I've put on a bit of weight which I am not happy with at all  so am taking small positive steps to lose some and up my activity levels. Fingers crossed it works. I only want to lose 1/2 a stone to a stone but it's proving difficult :(:(:(

What else, well I've already started my xmas shopping (get me!) and have a list written with everyone on it. I also have an xmas shopping day booked with a friend in November and aim to have it all finished and done by the end of November including writing all of our cards. I want December to be relaxing as we may host Christmas dinner at ours so it would be nice to have December to plan and prepare for that only. Fingers crossed.

Anyway, will finish there and update again once I have total figures.

    Take care all,

    Choc x

    Morning diaryland,

    Total debt update = £10,862.85 :j

Hopefully it'll be sub 10k by the end of October - that would be amazing and another milestone reached.

    Todays aims/goals/to-do-list.....
    • Check online banking
    • Do three washloads lights/darks/whites
    • Quick spruce of house
    • Evening run (any distance)
That's it for me today. I have a lunch date with friend and a friend coming for a visit this evening so should make for a nice day :)

Yesterday's to-do-list went well apart from washing side of things, didn't get all of the them done as hubby decided to bring home a load of his work kit that stank from his traning sessions so it took priority!!

No to-do-list today - keeping it simple of work, run this evening (long one) and dinner.

I have put myself down to work overtime on Sunday so that's my MSE action for today ;) Although do need to start focusing!
