Hi choc long time no post! Hope all is well I have also been awol for a few months and back with little improvement on the numbers eeek!
I need to have fertility treatment so im trying to save up 5k, I do get a free nhs go but was advised it would be sensible to save also just incase it doesn't work 1st time!
Need to get my head back in gear and make a sensible plan for
1) saving for icsi
2) clearing negative wealth
3) some form of house deposit
Yes it all seems rather scary to look at it like that but that is life, look forward to posting againxx

Hey happy my lovely, how are you doing?
I'm sorry to hear about your news (have posted on your diary) it's tough going :-( FC you get your first NHS treatment asap. This whole process is so hard, like an emotional roller coaster.
Like you say though, it is life and we will get there whether we have to battle or not. I have no doubt that you will achieve your goals lovely, you are one determined lady!!

I'm really pleased with this. My aim is to have it under 5k by the end of the year. Now the hard work starts!

Well done on the new numbers
. Yes I saw your post, it is indeed an emotional rollercoaster but I am sure we will succeed! Oh has a meeting today hes getting promoted! so a payride yay and if its what we think it is for it will see us clear our unsecured neg wealth by the end of 2014! Ive decided I wont save per say in a savings account but clear a cc and leave it open incase we require a private go for number 1.... if not its one less negative wealth to worry over! besides savings accounts don't have the great interest rates so it makes sense to clear a card .....
Had a rubbish day yesterday felt gloomy "why me" and all that jazz but I got over it and I am much happier todayx

I totally understand hon, it's not nice and you will have lots of up and down days but keep positive and it will happen help or no help.
That's a great idea re paying off the CC'd and keeping it open just in case. It'll be mentally better clearing a credit card.
I'm trying to keep busy and have lots of nice little things planned in coming months to keep my mind off things. I think i've something nice at least each month between now and the end of the year - I know it won't let me forget about it all but for me I need it not to be all consuming and i've accepted my time will come when it's supposed too - hard as that is to swallow!
