Hey,
Oscar has been found - well I say found, he was run over the thursday evening he went missing. The person that run him over knocked local farmers house where it was nearby and he came out and took him in (already dead) they couldn't locate an ower so buried him in their grounds along with some other cats and dogs.
Apparently Oscar was a regular visitor to their farm, liked hunting in their fields and then popping to say hello to them of an evening and winding up their dogs, lol.
I think i've finished all my sobbing, need to pop out and take down all the posters etc. Haven't told hubby yet as he's on a stag do - home this evening. I don't want to ruin his weekend.
In a weird way, it's nice knowing. Horrible as it is, the what if's and not knowing have been driving me mad this past week. I'm going to write a thank you card to the famer and his wife.
Anyway, just thought i'd update you guys as you've kindly been asking.

Hello
I am new to this site and was just browsing when I saw your post. I am so sorry for your loss, Oscar sounds like he was a real character.
One of our cats was run over and killed last Wednesday, her name was Lily and she always seemed to stay in our garden or next door's garden..she was found on the village bypass tho' and we are devastated at the moment.
At least you know what happened to Oscar, we have had cats go missing that have never returned and you always wonder about them. The farmer sounds like a really nice person to have taken care of Oscar's body.

Oh Choc I'm so sorry.
It is such a heart breaking thing to happen. My brothers cat was run over while she was crossing the road behind their house at 7am when she would have been coming back for breakfast
Huge hugs my lovely xxxx

Thanks for your lovely messages guys.
OF - similar thing here he would have been heading home to come to bed with us (normally curls up into one of our legs). It is very sad and house feels weird without him but I guess we'll get used to it eventually.
Day off for me today. I have friend visiting with her little ones later this morning - think we're going to pop up to the country park which will be nice and I think a sneaky coffee and slice of cake will be in order.
This evening I have a run planned with the neighbour so that's a good bit of exercise. I also have a run planned for weds morning so that's two. I have exercise dvd's out at the ready and plan on doing a little something at least once a day.
Money front doing ok. New plan starting from Aug payday (July pay was a breather month for me as been putting away so much for so long I needed a break) plan should see me clear at least 3 more debts before the end of the year....whoop whoop!
Anyway, best get on and do some bits and bobs before friend arrives.
Take care
