I opened the account online about a month agoa and only now got my security key for online banking!
I logged in and was very disappointed a fortnight ( after I get my card) and I get this
I love Lloyds!

What's wrong with Lloyds?
I've never had a problem with it! What will your verse be?

I found it to be one of the better ones.43580

I have found the HSBC system very easy to use.
It's clear and straight forward, no messing about. You're probably just not used to it. I don't like the Santander, Nationwide or Halifax ones but that's because they are all new to me.0 -
I've been with HSBC for years, but prefer santander which i'm new to because it seems to let you do more online.0

I meant Lloyds was better than HSBC!!
Though with the fancy security key, I thought it would be good
Good, but useless if you don't have the secure key with you when you want to log in. With Lloyds I can log in anywhere.0 -
All banks will let you do the basics - paying bills, setting up SOs, looking at statements, may be download your statements/transactions, order cheque books or cards, and some other admin services.
Some do it better than others, some people like some interfaces better than others. But the basics can be done with all of them.
Personally, I don't have much time for HSBC's website, not least because even logging in is a pain (because of this hideous security thingy). I still use it since they have a half-decent regular saver but that's about all the attraction I have so far found with HSBC.0 -

I know compared to Lloyds ,HSBC is a real hassle but I read that they said they cut online fraud by like 90% with the new security! Which is brilliant!

Oh yeah, I have a question about their regular saver, can you pay by fast payment in addition to the SO?
I mean like I can with N&P's regular saver.
I didn't want to make a SO but they didn't give me any choice when I applied online today
In a similar way to how I don't use DD or SO to pay my credit card bill (s)-I prefer manual payments! 0 -
