According to a customer services person I spoke to this afternoon , no-one has had an email confirmation of despatch because absolutely no-one is getting one of these as it was an error on the website . ( Still waiting for proof from one member here  ) . The system has no matching record of ID numbers for anyone because all of these orders were deleted from the database once the mistake was realised , pointless phoning up or emailing because there will be no trace history .

the website t&c states the price quoted is the price you pay,. at the checkout page this was zero.

I think lets not push them too hard as it was mistake in their system and everyone should get a fair chance to rectify that.
However if bissel is thinking of charging money from any MSE then we are united.

Have pm'd you my order number. Good luck, hope you get a response.
I think if what was posted earlier is correct (that they have deleted all the orders), then this is extremely bad customer service, as potential customers we all should've been informed of their intentions. As it stands we have all been deleted from their system, without any word from them.

Maybe Spikey ordered one of the £30 ones and thats what the email ? is referring to.

I ordered one and I still haven't received it despite them saying I will.

I don't know how to PM you as I am new to all this and don't even know what PMing is!!!.

Do think it is a bit unfair to push it as was a genuine mistake it's not like they have tried to rip us off or anything in fact that's what we are trying to do to them.

I may take the moral high ground and cancel my order! Yeh right! If those baies are going for nuffin i'm 'aving it!

If they have deleted the orders from their database then they are in contravention of the data protection at.

one of the 7 principles is that information held must be correct, current and held for 7 years with regards to personal data.

    E.g. Name and Address.

By deleting the order they have deleted your personal data and in my understanding (*Disclaimer I am not a lawyer).

They have contravened the DPA 1998 deleting that information that if you approached the Data Protection Registra and paid your £10 they will need to be able to provide that data to you.

Would be interesting to know their take on deleting personal data ;)

Is a bit of a grasp at straws though.
