I can take the cyncism, the mockery because I have good on my side and I have all my Lawyer pals on Twitter. Apparently i seem to have got more rather than less!!!
I have had a hard time on this Forum but people became friends. Now I am an established MSE Member, contributing in my own anarchic way.
I take the benefit bashing lot with a pinch of salt.
As far as the Law is concerned. Justice is not justice if only for the rich, but justice is for the poor, despised unpopular, ostracized. I fight the good fight for tax saving cases with appropriately qualified and experienced lawyers. Law is advanced, and the public is mightily served.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Law is not the most immediately accessible discipline. It doesn't however stop Joe Public from teaching himself a few basics.
A few suggestions for a Reading List #saveukjustice
Keith Ewing Bonfire of the Liberties: New Labour, Human Rights and the Rule of Law. Accessible but demanding read that shows you the decimation of Civil Liberties despite the Human Rights Act 1998 and how Political action is needed to change the power balance. Tony Blair (an f**g barrister fgs) is to blame!!!!!!

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14391260-art-of-the-loophole Oh my God can a Lawyer get me off my speeding charge. Here is the man to explain how he gets it done.
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7734691-the-rule-of-law
The Rule of |Law by Lord Bingham who has a centre named after him.
http://www.biicl.org/bingham_centre/
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14891880-boilerplate a very useful one i am still reading for us who get swept along with those lovely apps. Have u dared to read the boilerplate signing away our right to bring a class action against them??!!! this is the book to read folks!!
This is only a small sample of what is out there for non lawyer folks to read. I must point MSE to the many Lawyer written blogs for the Layman, they are growing exponentially and MSE will get much out of them.

Making Human Rights Law accessible to the layman.Takes a bit of reading but well worth it.
The views of a Criminal Barrister
http://jaimerhblog.wordpress.com/
One of my favourite QC's John Cooper QC who is really nice, comes from a working class background.
His blog for the Layman
https://twitter.com/John_Cooper_QC/media/grid
for a few mugshots.
http://shadowofthenoose.com/
There are loads of blogs and they can also be easily explored from Twitter on my Twitter feed
https://twitter.com/govsocgradessex
where'Boredom' and 'nothing to do' will evaporate in a most interesting journey through cyberspace.
All this is to help MSE get friendly with the law so they can see the issues at stake and once recognised know they have a fight on their hands.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

A site with a well established bunch of Benefits Bashers is hardly likely to post'signed, signed, signed, signed...'' is it? If people read, read the links, read the blogs, read my twitter feed. Then sign? sign? sign?
I am happy to update MSE and bump the thread to keep it alive because what is at stake is too important not too.
Sorry if people object.
I hope MSE has legal help it needs esp if it has despised status and law is not seen just as province for the rich.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I have no issue with Justice, I have an issue with the waste of money that is involved in the current system and if Lawyers are made to compete a bit more the government would get better value for money from our taxes.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
@takeawayaddict I hate the waste as well and could cite you chapter and verse on it. Amen to that!
Examples: Capita Interpreters Contract
G4S Court Contract
CPS Inefficiencies
Police not filling in forms properly Nick Freeman'The Art of the Loophole' still reading but very useful.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
