You seem to be doing a lot of assuming as well

I would agree with that - yet more examples of the poster's wild assumptions:
I bet most of MSE will require Legal aid if mistakenly arrested.
I take it you wish to choose your Lawyers? since most of MSE is on the lower end of the income scale would you like the State to force a solicitor on you?

How nasty insulting and unfair. I am not taking this lying down!

Seems like a pretty accurate assessment of your postings to me. I'm sorry, but you do write like some teen girl tweeting about her latest crush.

You also don't seem to have a voice of your own, all your posts compose of are links and copy/pastes of other websites.
  • I very much have a voice of my own. I do not spout PR or spin. Law is an area of which I am ignorant but I have read enough to convince me that right is on their side. I am not fighting for selfish capitalists, fat cats, and other neoliberal scum. I am fighting for the Public, and for the publics right to have Legal aid for cases in order to SAVE taxpayers money.
The only way to present this is links plus supporting comments. I am doing the best under intense stress.

Then you need to take a step back, this is clearly making you ill.

I would echo what others have said - you are not helping the cause one bit, your posts stopped being constructive long ago.
  • I very much have a voice of my own on MSE that will be evidenced by the numerous threads enjoyable challenging etc that I have been on. I have NEVER attempted to conform to any 'norm's here bar try to save money. I stubbornly obstinately myself.

All I am trying to do is convince MSE of what is going on!!!
That it is stressful is beyond dispute. Everyone seems to have turned against me, WHEN IT IS FOR MSE THAT I AM DOING THIS!:(:(:(:(:(:mad: and in it's context 'be MSE'.

I am myself whether people [here] like it or not, whether society likes me or not. I do not conform to any norms like box me in and limit my choices.
Like everyone here and in life I have a budget to meet and am not excempt from costs. I try to keep my costs as low as possible. I may not be viewed as Little Miss super duper wonder Money saver but if I see something that helps then I will adopt it.
My reasons for supporting this thread is that the proposed Grayling reforms will cost the taxpayer so much more though looking on the face of it that it won't.
Grayling is a headline seeker and is not a Lawyer, he is the first non lawyer that has held the Lord Chancellor post since Tudor times.
I am not a Lawyer and like the others on twitter who are non Lawyers, unlike grayling i seek to understand what this Law biz is all about and am infinitely enriched as a result.
Since your cuddly tories through LASPO have effectively forced most of us on MSE to probably have to become LIP Litigents in Person perhaps it behoves us to find out as much as we can also.

No one has turned against you, but people have stopped reading because you have taken over the thread with quite bizarre rants.

I understand you are passionate about the topic, but you would do well to consider how to take a more constructive approach.

WHEN IT IS FOR MSE THAT I AM DOING THIS!

I doubt that MSE would give a toss about it - I'm sure MoneySupermarket can afford to pay for their own legal advice rather than leaching off the taxpayer.
