I'm sure my hairdresser used this product on me when I had much longer hair:

I use ASDA shine serum on my daughters' hair after washing. This makes it much easier to brush when it's dry and it's only abut £1.500

I absolutely love the MOP pear detangling spray - it is expensive (£9 a bottle) but it lasts for ages and smells wonderful. I have long fine hair that knots like anything but this sorts it out a treat0

I used to use the Aussie leave in spray conditioner when I had really long hair and it was brillant and smelt nice too!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

i use john frieda frizz-ease serum on my dd's hair. it's brill cos it doesnt add any time or effort to the hair-washing process, which they hate, you just run it through with your fingers
and it's more accepted by them, because they see it's the same as what i use myself
i used to think i must get special 'baby' hair products, but they are not very good, and when you read the ingredients, they are every bit as bad as the grownup stuff anyway, lol
oh and also, when the head lice are on their regular march, i still use the frizz-ease, only triple the quantity with fine comb, works better than anything else i've tried0 -
I've tried all the detangling sprays under the sun and the best one I have found is the kids Avon one......better when it's on a BOGOF too!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

I second (or should that be third) the Avon spray too - it's fab, and not expensive."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I use the wella lifetex leave in spray..i use it on damp hair and brush it through and the following morning the brush will still go through no problem...i have used it on both nieces...1 with wavy hair and 1 who can sit on it and it is sooo thick and neither of them mind me doing their hair..its about £7 a bottle but a couple of sprays is enough...it lasts for months n months and i wash my hair most days..-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50

You can water down normal conditioner in a spray bottle too, you have to give it a really good shake to mix it, but then you can water it down to the right consistency to suit your daughters hair - the finer the hair, the more water you use."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Not very money saving but I use Paul Mitchell leave in conditioner on my 2 year old.
She has thick long curly hair, the leave in stuff is great, as she is a terror when I wash her hair and it is silky smooth for days.
It does last for a long time as you only need a tiny ammount.
