Who is your isp? If you are with talktalk, you could upgrade to their youview box and just get the Sports package for £30. That way you wouldn't need a satellite areal, just a standard one.

    And virtually all illegal.

Then, would Google be complicit in the illegality of advertising these sites in their searches?

You could say that for anything illegal you searched on Google. That really is a daft point to make for you argument.

it was a very strange thing to say.

I didn't think him a tight git as he puts it but much worse than that
  • Some crazy over reactions on here just becasue OP said he didnt want to subsidise his parents viewing. He didnt come on asking for opinions on his views on life, rather he just wanted moneysaving help like most people on this forum do.
The problem with a lot of people on here is they are so far up their own !!!!!! that they miss the point of alot of posts and jump on the OP for an inocent statement. You dont know his income, you dont know his situation. All you know is he wants cheaper football on the tele. So either provide a solution or assistance or keep your opinions to yourselves.

The very same could be said of your post, which offers no money-saving advice either- just criticism of those who expressed disgust at the OP's attitude to subsidising his parent's TV viewing. You appear to just want to provoke an argument.

In fact, the OP gave a very thorough indication of his outgoings when he said he was already paying £44 for SkyGo on his Xbox and was given several options before his unfortunate response turned everyone against him.

    As I said earlier,
I think this thread ran it's course once the OP called subsidising his parent's viewing "madness"....
Does anymore really need to be said?
