Has anyone that moved from O2 and took a fibre product managed to get a deal?0
-
has anyone been offered a deal without taking any additional services, I have a btline and broadband from sky with price now gone up to £15.
They just offered me (BB only) £7.50pm. So effectively waiving the 'Supplement for not having Sky TV' and the 'Supplement for not having Sky Talk'. I was told that £5pm was only possible if you had line rental with Sky.Stompa0 -

Not true I'm afraid.
My friend was given the £5pm deal and she has nothing else with Sky - line rental is with BT.0 -

After accepting the £7.50 offer, I received a confirmation email saying "I'm writing to confirm that you have agreed to take up our fantastic Broadband unlimited 5 GBP off for 12 Months - Existing UK Customers(Recontract)".
This sounded like £10pm to me, so I phoned them up to query it. I was immediately offered £5pm, and have just received another confirmation email saying "I'm writing to confirm that you have agreed to take up our fantastic Broadband Unlimited Free for 12 Months (Recontract) - Existing UK Customers."
He also said my 'Supplement for not having Sky TV' would be waived, so all I'd end up paying was the 'Supplement for not having Sky Talk'.
I'm sure their billing system is deliberately designed to confuse!!!Stompa0 -
I was an o2 bb customer and have been with sky paying £5.00 per month sine dec 2013. They began charging £15.00 after the years contract ended. Phone them up on thursday and they said they would give me discount of £2.50. I didnt think this was very good, called today at 8.30 am and said i would be cancelling my contract as i could get it cheaper elsewhere. They said they would do it for £5.00 a month for the next year. Only on the phone for a few minutes and very pleased. Sky asked who my home phone was with, but didnt give me any hard sell or hastle at all. Very pleased and def worth phoning0

I'm ex O2 and have been with Sky for about 11 months, currently paying £12.50pm (£7.50 broadband and £5 for Anytime calls. Free line rental and no surcharge for no Sky TV.
My minimum term ends in about a month and I'll be seeking a similar deal (or better)-has anyone got something in that range recently?
I don't really mind which way they cut it, on broadband or line rental, as long as I'm not paying more than my current deal. Otherwise very happy with the Sky service-my line speed is about 20% higher since the migration. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I called cancellations 3 times and the best they could offer was broadband for £5 but they would not budge on line rental at £16 something a month.
I decided to switch both to Plusnet but that has been a disaster so far with Plusnet giving me a new number even though I wanted to keep my existing one and followed correct procedure by letting them deal with Sky over the transfer.
Good luck whatever you decide.0 -

They offered me £5 and my line rental is with Primus, didn't even have to argue.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. What can I do if they call my bluff and give me my MAC?0
-
A MAC does not do anything unless you give it to the new provider within 30 days. So call their bluff-they may still call you back within those 30 days.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
