Shell loyalty card - £20 of Fuel for £10

I doubt anyone has had any when I phoned last week they hadn't started processing the accounts yet0
-
I am surprised at Shell for obviously not being able to cope with this promotion but as long as my vouchers arrive eventually I will be happy.
It is a good deal and I hope that the problems do not stop deals like this being offered in the future.0 -
It's a shame this has gone pear-shaped and hopefully all will be revealed by the weekend.
MD can't send out the vouchers, this is down to Shell.
If they haven't been received by this weekend, then Shell have let MD down and Quentin has a valid point asking what action MD might take against Shell for damage caused (if any). Was this "contract" tied up adequately though??
I just want my vouchers in line with other "normal" Shell customers, but if this is how they perform, then a warning for the future. Shell would have been aware of this promotion and should have shown they are creditable regarding their points program.
Roll on the weekend and see what happens, though MD should have the decency to offer a (rapid) refund to those that would like their money back if those promised vouchers haven't dropped on the doormats by the weekend.
Good luck and hope the goalposts don't need to be moved yet again. It will really look even "tackier".

As fat as I'm concerned neither the normal nor the deals points have been processed and the goal posts have been moved to the end of September last time I phoned it was the start of September when mighty deals was saying August and then now the he of September when mighty deals is saying 13th. Its not like they haven't had warning weeks and weeks of it neither firm is coming out well. However she'll will still sell petrol not sure about mighty deals deals.0 -
pinkcalculator - I agree, Shell will continue selling petrol etc. But part of the promotion I'd imagine would have been to add new loyalty points customers to their current base. Knowing how Shell operate (or fail to operate) their points scheme does not fill anyone with confidence and there are other schemes out there which are more instant (Morrison's for example).
If it was MD sending out these vouchers, then I'd assume we'd all have had them ages ago. But MD's reputation will be in tatters I'd think if this goes over the 13th Sept as promised via the Shell Manager and by MD in an above post. Sadly, you can't just keep moving the goalposts and still have credibility. That's for any company, not just these two.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK. LODGE YOUR COMPLAINTS AND GET THEM TO REVIEW THEIR PRACTICES. SHAME ON MIGHTY DEALS - THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.0 -

That is bad that Mighty deals have refused to give you your money back in the circumstances.
Surely you could take it further?
Did you take it up with the rep on here?0 -
Shell will be thinking of ways to fleece us before sending the vouchers0

Its frustrating being told you will receive your voucher by the end of August, then receive an email to say sorry early September but most of all when you call them to chase them for a 3rd time your told end of September. I can see on the online account that they haven't even removed the points yet so the process hasn't even begun.
It was a great offer and you still will get more for your money but customer service and meeting customer expectations wise its a load of rubbish!0 -
