Making Use of the Media

I've got a long-running issue that might be of interest to a media organisation, and am wondering if MSE offers guidance about which organisations are good to approach with a given type of story.
For example, each of the broadsheets seems to have its own consumer champion, so is there a good way to decide whether to approach one or all?
Is there a list of contacts anywhere?

Have you done a search on Google to see if any of the newspapers have already covered any similar issues?
If you can find something along the same lines, you may well find the name of the reporter and this may help speed up any communications you gat from them.
Bear in mind that the newspaper consumer problem pages probably get far more enquiries than they can possibly handle, which is why contacting one about a subject that they have already had investigations about might be wise.0 -
The Dail Sport is always a winner if you have found a bus on the moon or are marrying your sister"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

The Daily sport is a lightweight when it comes to strange reporting.
For "bus on the moon" type stories, you can't beat the Weekly World news.

The Daily Wail loves banking and mobile phone stories. They're not too fussy about facts either.0

Just tell the DM that this situation (whatever it is) has occurred because you are too good looking. They will print it. (they will also blame it on the Muslims and mention the sexuality of everyone involved even if it isn't relevant)Hi. I'm a Board Guide on the Gaming, Consumer Rights, Ebay and Praise/Vent boards.
