This has all got very silly.

The OP's question was "can they do this?"

The answer has got to be "Yes, but they probably shouldn't because it's a bit misleading."

based on what the OP said the answer has to be no - because they don't provide services to everyone for that price

But I am guessing some restrictions are made clear underneath the big text - in which case it might be OK.

So after all your objections "it might be ok"

Christ I can't help but feel you've wasted all our time with this one :rotfl:

Not really - based on what the OP has said I am quite happy that it wouldn't be OK as it is - but I am aware that it is highly likely the advertising had more to it.

The point you were making about reporting it was totally different. There is not enough evidence to suggest it definitely was OK as the information given cannot lead to that conclusion.
  • OMG one simple question turned into 4 pages of people saying I am pathetic!

So, mainly because of all the unnecessary banter on here I decided to contact trading standards who have decided to follow up on it because it's misleading advertising.

I will now think twice before asking a perfectly sensible question on MSE.

Good times. Make sure to post back their response.

We can only hope that the misleading poster is removed.

It would be the first victory in the battle for truth and justice :)
