My condolences JulieJim, and welcome 'home' to you and Mrs Chaos. Ionafan I hope Mr I's BD got a big juicey stick-type-bone after dinner last night and is thoroughly absorbed by it for the duration.

I got the vacuum cleaner out last night at 8.45 pm, just before I settled down to watch TV. It really surprised me that I wanted to. This Flylady lark is .... something quite extraordinary. Sadly OH has been poking through the CS pile of stuff I sorted out, and a large part of the mass has been reabsorbed back into the household. I can but try.

Lovely Lodger returned from hospital late yesterday dosed up on morphine. She keeps appearing, muttering about feeling weird. We keep telling her that morphine and being weird/wired are related, but she can't grasp that simple fact - and she's doing a PhD!
    Better is good enough.

It's definitely an "eat with a spoon" type of cake! Germans usually eat their fruit cakes with whipped cream or the squirty stuff. My children always wanted ice cream or custard with the plainer (non-meringue) type of cake. Thick Greek-style yogurt is also good. Whatever takes your fancy :rotfl:
Ah, yes.... "met slagroom". Mr LW loved it when we were in Belgium, as he could have his coffee met slagroom.:rotfl:

I've had a horrid couple of days - cba to type it all out again, Post #16 on today's OS Daily tells the whole gruesome tale.:(

Big hugs for your crappy few days LW...I hope all is fine on Tuesday for you.

Back to my flinging and sorting and clearing... I appear to have trashed the entire house at the moment!

    Goodintentions -

oh pigpen if I'd known you were dressed I would have called for you - although it sounds like you are doing ok, and it's Tiddles that needs a trip out. I did wave in the University's direction as I passed as I know you live in that area somewhere. I pick DS up from the Lidl carpark as turning round in Minton Street can be a pain. He'll be on Lambton Street next year - one way but not a dead end yayy. (Although thinking about it - a one way dead end road wouldn't work would it? :rotfl:)

DS home; lunch with parents eaten; friend's budgies fed - and one decluttered as it had died :( Everytime I look after them one dies at some point in the week - it's a little disconcerting to say the least.

Hugs to Juliejim and LW, and anyone else who wants/needs one ((())).

I'm going to put WM on / empty LR wastebin / dry pots.

    See you later

Why can't men see what's two inches in front of their noses?

We back up the stuff on our PCs once a month, and that's due to be done this weekend.

I did mine, and put the flash-drive on top of Mr LW's keyboard.

He just sat down at his PC, switched it on, and asked me "Where's the flash-drive to do the back-up?".

Any closer, it'd have got up and bit him!:rotfl:

Dinner is on the go, love stuff that can be shoved in the pot and ignored (stew tonight though with this sun I'd rather have had a BBQ) I've just collapsed, I have ironing to do but can't face it. Blah.

    Achievements today
-nappies washed and on the line (ones from previous wash put away)
-towels washed and on the line
-mad dash to the supermarket for loo roll as we almost ran out
-large section of border dug out in the front garden (DH did that)

    To do
I must I must I must do some ironing tonight.
Strip and change beds and put sheets in the WM.

    aww Lamewolf (((hugs)))

there are some twonks working in the Health service, aren't there - I've been apologised to because I was left, in the waiting room, for close an an hour, struggling to breathe.

There are (for balance though) some angels - and two of our 5 (but I've only had two to deal with under great stress) GPs are, in my experience, fantastic.

and, talking of angels, my NDN has levered the 30" steel fence support out of my soil with a crowbar! Now I can get my veg plot properly edged!

JJ so sorry for your loss X

More garden stuff done today. It's looking smashing but boy is it physical work. DS has helped me sweep salt between the palings slabs (rumour has it the little green monsters won't grow in it) so we got smart price salt and 3 bags of the stuff. Oddly the granules seem to have cleaned the paving too :T as we swept it over.

More planting, and more playing. Kids just been bathed and suppered, will be in bed in minutes...

As for me, I feel grubby. I may have a bath too. And definitely more tea!!!

Hugs and spoons to LW too, I haven't read the other thread, but sound like you need them X
