Haha, that is pretty funny actually :p Was you stealing the limelight a bit then ?
I answered all the questions and she thought she was asking us hard stuff which in my head I am laughing at!!!

When she handed me her millions of works sheets and said 'want to take the session' everyone laughed I looked at the clock and said 'class dismissed' LOL

One girl and I joke you not asked me in the session how long I had been out of work and she could not believe it as I was putting across all the right answers and was very well presented and very well spoken and I said 'you can all be like me but unless you get the interview you have 0% chance of getting the job,

I was banned for answering the questions and she said I will save on a VERY hard one till the end

She had two left, held up 2 pieces of paper and said 'which one' I said 'anyone you like' she replied I see nothing phases you I repeated 'anyone you like' she asked the question I replied and all she did was smile and nodded LOL

Since last Feb, got a job working for them last May and was then made redundant last August haha.

Nope, but this call centre one has a call centre interview at the end, haha.
You were on the WP from Feb but then got a job at the WP provider and are now out of work again?

Yeah ok so Feb 2014 will be the end

    Yep, that is correct, haha

Yeah, so that's what I'm saying Feb 2014, not that long left really. Better to try and focus on my weakness - interview techniques, than put me on this call centre course, when it's a job I don't even want. My previous advisor knows that as I dropped out the last time I was referred to it, which he was ok with. Gonna look daft dropping out again, but nothing has changed since the last time. I still don't want call centre work.

Haha, should just sign off for the next four weeks, as they themselves said if I'm signed off I don't have to attend Work Programme stuff.

Or rather than sign off, which I can't really afford, would it just be better to be honest with my advisor about how I've realised it's the same thing I dropped out of last time ?

Yeah, I know that. Just that it's four weeks spent training for a job at the end I'm not even going for.

And the bigger picture - the transferable skills you could gain from the course?

I used to work in IT support (yes, in a call centre!). When I graduated, I applied those same skills to get me a job as a Grade 6 manager in the NHS. On paper, there is no link between the two jobs. In practice, many of the skills used are the same.

Yeah, but it's all training toward this call centre job which I really don't want. The environment just isn't something I would be suited too. So it's kind of wasting their time the fact people on this course are their for that job. Had it been inbound calls, I wouldn't particularly have minded.

You're not seeing the bigger picture at all. Think of the transferable skills it will give you.

That's one thing I suck at, addressing issues. How would you address the issues in my first post in a more clearer way ?

Can't say I've already done the course, that much my new advisor will know. But I can say I've realised it's the same course I dropped out of a few weeks ago because it really wasn't a job I would be suited too.

Can also try and say I'd rather aim towards improving interview skills and focus on applying for admin jobs.

She herself said it's important if I don't agree with stuff to raise it as otherwise the things we do won't really be helping me.

Yeah, it's just I need a lot of help with interview skills and these next four weeks, it's four weeks where there's no time for the Work Programme to help me with the thing I most need help with.

Like my advisor had said about arranging some mock interviews after my appointment this week, but that now can't be done as I'm on this course.

You have had months to get help with interview skills, it seems that it has only become vital because of this course. There is no reason why you cannot do both - if the course finishes at 4pm, then you can be at the WP office at 4.30pm for a mock interview.

Sorry, but I think you are creating excuses.
