Too fat to fly?

As a big guy myself I can understand your concern. Around 2 years ago I was visiting relatives in the U.S and the same thought crossed my mind. Everything was fine though and as others say unless you are say size 30+ you shouldn't have any problems at all.0

I've been an 18-20 and was still miles off being too big to get the seatbelt on. You'll be fine!!0
-
Sister is a size 22 and she had enough room on a budget airline, with no seatbelt extension.
You'll be fine.0 -
God, no, you'll be fine. 20 is the new 16 anyway"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

I am a 20 no extension needed. Just remember to pick your belt up before you sit down, because once you sit down there is no wiggle room at the sides to get your hand down to grab the belt.0

PS the only embarassment I had was when my tummy covered my belt and the stewardess thought I hadn't put it on and asked me twice loudly to do so.0

Am i next to a fatty?
It is the first thing i look for when finding my seat..Then next is where are the little children....Relief if both are far awayIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

Maybe that's why O/H and I always manage to keep the middle seat free then:)
Neither of us are sylph-like and we sit in the window and aisle seat respectively, leaving the seat between us empty.
Nobody has ever tried to take that middle seat...!:rotfl:0 -

How on earth do you manage that? I have rarely been on a flight that isn't pretty full up!0 -

I'd avoid flying with Air France if I were you...Overweight passengers who struggle to fit into just one seat will have to pay double to fly with Air France in a new rule introduced by the airline.
Obese passengers will be charged 75 per cent of the cost of a second seat if they are deemed too large to fit into just one seat of a 43-44cm width.0
