I just don't know how to help my Mum anymore - menopause

The menopause does seem to affect different women differently. I don't think it affected me much at all, apart from the obvious - stopping of menstruation. But my DH thinks the menopause in his second wife caused the breakdown of that marriage. She became violent both physically and vocally and completely irrational. In the end he walked out because she'd attacked him so many times.
It sounds as if a man with heart disease is in similar danger, if he's being asked to walk for 14 hours a day!
You would think the menopause is a completely normal occurrence and one which might be welcomed - no more having to deal with the effects of menstruation, no more worries about unwanted pregnancy.
Turner's syndrome is a complication - I can't comment on how this affects menstruation because I don't know.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
Before I found wisdom, I became old.0
