Experian vs. Equifax

Just reiceved my Equifax Report.

MBNA shows up as a search in July.
Orange shows up as a search in June.

Updates showing for:-

MBNA
Barclaycard
Sky Card (Barclaycard)
Orange
Virgin One (RBOS)
Capital One

Hello everyone,

this is my first post to this forum. I'm currently registered with Experian and can confirm these companies who searched my experian credit reports:

01. MBNA.
02. GE Money.
03. Barclaycard.
04. Barclaycard (Monument).
05. HALIFAX.
06. CapitalOne.
07. Bank Of Ireland (PO).
08. Morgan Stanley.
09. Nationwide.
10. Vanquis.
11. Mint.
12. Virgin Money.
13. Abbey.

This might sound weired, but HSBC never checked my credit report from either of Experian, Equifax and Callcredit. But they do say there going to check the credit when i apply for credit card/overdraft limit increase. I don't know how they check it, there was never any search made by HSBC in my report.

Just had a look at my credit report from Equifax and Experien. Both are virtually the same apart from Experien has a record of a loan I had from Hitachi Finance which ended this year. No mention of this on Equifax.

The online Experien report shows searches by the following:

- MBNA Europe Bank (Sony Card application)
- Nationwide (Current Account & Credit Card)
- Morgan Stanley (Refused - Didn't meet financial criteria)
- 2 searches for car insurance (AGP "Admiral, Bell, Diamond, Elephant" & Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance).

My credit score is 824 and Experien rate that as Fair!! I would have thought that it should have at least been in the category of Good.

If anyone body else has had a look at thier credit file lately it would be interesting for them to put the above information on if possible.
