.....ask my new bloke round to my house tomorrow for a meal and, err, maybe afters?
It is our fourth date and I do like him....
I can't believe I am asking this as I am 44! However, as I've said before, I don't understand this whole dating business and am just finding my way.
Opinions please!

Will you have the house to yourself? Will you need to kick him out early the next morning to go to work?Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

Yeah! Invite him round for a meal. If it feels natural for afters then go for it, if not then don't. Either way I am sure you will have a good night just enjoying his company.0

Fourth date? I'd have banged him weeks ago"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Hell yes!
I had a cheeky snog followed by a week of text messaging, I then visited said chap at his flat. I had spent all week worrying about taking things at the right speed. I'd just come out of a marriage and this dating thing was new to me.
I got to his flat and all my worrying was forgotten about, I knew what was right. It took us six weeks to have a proper date.0 -

It's a nice idea but a little difficult in practice....
When you're enjoying your coffee, the lights are low, Barry White crooning on the stereo... slip him a sexual health questionnaire..
Q1. Have you ever had chlamydia/gonorrhoea/genital herpes/syphilis?
Tick all that apply.
Q2. Have you ever tested positive for HIV/Hep B/Hep C?
Tick all that apply.

Seems a shame to go straight from initial getting-to-know-you 3 or 4 dates to spending the night together. As a youngster you tend to have a few dates involving lengthy snogging sessions, moving onto a few more with a bit of ermm... fooling around
. Think I'd miss out on the building anticipation if it was 0 to 60 mph all in one evening, even with dinner and a movie.
But you're both adults, OP, so if it feels right....:)0 -

It would also be wise for the OP to checks she has the all clear with her own sexual health.0 -

Sometimes the tension gets in the way though.0
