If you use the link below to Tesco Direct, you can get 2 Nokia phones for an extra £9.97.

    Link Here

This is what I posted on the "Quick Grabbit" board yesterday:

This offer expires at 10am today!

This offer of 2 Nokia phones for less than £10 if you purchase an airtime voucher of £30 is still on. The link above is still valid at time of posting.

Just to mention, I'd personally try the Freecycle group first for a replacement mobile, as you will get one there for free. :)
As long as you're like me, and not particularly bothered about whether it's the latest model or not. :T

I have just bought a Motorolo F3 on Virgin PAYG from Hello Prepay (part of The Carphone Warehouse). It cost £29.95 including £10 credit. It's actually better than that because the Virgin SIM also came with its "standard" £5 credit on it. The £10 is credited to you after 10 days. I already have a Virgin PAYG number and was able to transfer the £15 credit from the new number to my existing one. So a new phone for £14.95 and the ability to keep my existing number.

    Hello,

This is my first post here although I have skulked around here for ages. I found a post somewhere with a link to orange, offering a F3 Motorola for £9.99. I went and bought one, plus the tenner top-up, for £19.99. Delivery was due on Friday - no show. I phoned today and eventually got through to someone, apparently my order had been mysteriously canceled! I assured the woman I spoke to that I very much wanted the phone, delivery is now due on Wednesday. Has anyone else experienced this from orange? Do you think they don't want people to have these phones, thats why they are mysteriously "canceled"? Or am I paranoid?

Have ordered a couple of PAYG phones off the orange websiteover the last few months. I have had to ring up to see what has been happening on every order as they acknowledge the order and then it appears to go into a black hole. Anyway cant complain both phones turned up after I phoned them, but it took a week. They were £9.99 ones too.

Well, I phoned again on Tuesday and the order had again disappeared and the guy on the phone tried to take my card details again! So he put the order through again and then accidentally - hmmm - cut me off. I phoned again immediately and the man on the phone has assured me the order has gone through to parceline. I will let you know if and when I get my phone.

I tried to buy a Sim for an unlocked Motorola in USA BUT they wanted $75.00 with no airtime
So I went to Walmart and bought a cheap$30.00 phone ( £15.00 ish )with 300 minutes any network , they only lasted one month though so it depends on how often you travel to the USA whether it is worth trying it out.
We bought that cos we needed to phone our son/family within the USA
I am not sure if it was usable for international calls and as I left it there for our grandson to use the remaining minutes I cant remember which make it was. Not a normal UK brand I think!
Not sure this is any help to you.
    sorry
but thought I would tell everyone anyway!

If it's anything like this one, you can make International calls to 50 countries - including the UK - good call (pardon the pun!).

I'm interested in the cheapie Alcatel on Orange. Martin's post says we'd need to top it up every six months to keep it operable.

My intent is to use it as a replacement contract phone with an Orange SIM.

Does anyone know if this will work - permenantly?

    Odd
aLCATEL OTE 201 IS supposed to start going for 7.49 if you wait a couple of months (if you can afford to wait). Any orange sim should work if you use one you use already.
