BG rang me in reply to my e mail and told that that i would automatically be switched from Click Energy 2 to Click Energy 3 automatically.

But whats the difference? What terms have they changed because the prices are the same!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Could anyone be kind enough to post the prices for click energy 2 electric only

I changed to it last month and BG messed up and did not transfer me. I can't find the prices for the electricity only on click 2 now.

    Thank you

It is highly doubtful you will receive the £40 credit as you get it once you have been on the standard rate for three months (not click 2). You might be lucky though.
Lucky you, my husband and I are BG and elec, combined, Gas in May £288 Credit, elec £183, they sent a letter saying the elec would be adjusted so I phoned, saying," No you do not take another £5-00", look and see the credit limit, which is high, so I asked not to be increased but also to refund £100 off each back to us,Also to drop the amount to £25-00 d/d per month.
We wrote & sent them a letter husband signed it, I recorded it ,tried track/trace, which didn't find it at all, when my husbands statement arrived, 8 days later after the phone call they had taken the £5 from his account and yet another £44 per month,
Today I rang to complain and they had the cheek to say ,your name is not on the bill, But they were happy to take the meter reading from me in May and as were legally married they should deal with me also, but being married is not legal to B/Gas, amazing we still have not had the £200 credit were waiting for or the amount reduced,Help ,any idea's welcome, thanks in advance

The prices for Click 2 are Identical to that of Click 3 so you can just use the Click 3 chart here:

I only have a printed version of the Click 2 prices here, but I assure you every regions electricity price is identical to that of Click 3 (which is why I was asking earlier, what the point of Click 3 was).

We were supposed to be on click energy from the time we transferred to BG from Powergen last September. When I just logged onto the click energy website, it said something along the lines of 'we were not registered for click energy'. I have an email sent to me on 25 May, following a telephone call about registration, telling me that we have now convereted our gas and electricity to Click Energy 2'! How do I get onto Click Energy 3, if I am probably not even on Click Energy 2.

Also, I was just checking my bank statement, on line, and realise that I am only paying a DD for £45 a month for my electricity. I don't appear to have paid anything towards my gas since leaving Powergen. Now, what do I do?

    Mike,
There used to be a differential for those people paying by direct debit vs those paying by cash or cheque. I think with Click 3 that they have brought down the costs for cash / cheque in line with those for DD.

    Dollywops,
I have also had problems with BG re being able to view my account, getting it live online etc.
I sent an online complaint to energywatch. Once they had contacted BG then I had a couple of phone calls from them and it would appear that my issues are being addressed.
They have to respond to complaints that are made via energywatch.

Checked the charges last night and for the Eastern Region then Click Energy 3 is cheaper than Click Energy 2. For Electricity it is the Tier 1 that has reduced. For Gas both Tier 1 and 2 have reduced slightly.
I have also changed from 2 to 3 online because when I spoke to BG they advised I was on Click 2 so they are not automatically switching accounts over you have to make the change yourself.
