Morning all -just managed to catch up and so pleased that legendmum won last night - I kept voting but then couldn't get back on here to check as there was a problem - sooo frustrating. Managed to get DTD on a leg of lamb yesterday the SA was really helpful but said the butcher was not very pleased - it cost me 1p!! there were 3 joints at the wrong price but only had the bottle to get one.

So how does DTD work? You pay the non-offer price by picking up a mislabelled item then.....go to customer services to get a refund?

    Not something I've done before.

    Hi everyone

Just about to do a shop at mr t, i have a £8 off £80 pound.
Im planning to do double up clubcard and buy a kettle. kettle is about £20.
Would the £20 count into the £80 to use that £8 coupon?

I have never doubled my coupons before.

    Thanks

Yes it does. I've just used a conditional spend when well over half the 'spend' was paid for with doubled up kitchen and garden coupons.

Lamb was on offer at £5.99 a kg but the one I got was marked up at £11 per kilo - because it was a pricing error T's give you back double the difference of the overcharge:j Some SA's do try everything they can not to give you this but it is clearly stated on their terms which are usually at the CS desk

They say its a sign of intelligence lol.

    "They" are lying too.

If anyone tells lies and gets caught out, that makes them stupid.

When my pair tried lying, the first time I caught them out I explained I was always behind them to help them and back them up, but if they were lying there would be no support, and I would side with the person being lied to, and assume my kids were totally in the wrong.
It worked out fine with mine, I wish you luck Flo Flo.

I often have to listen to parents telling me "but they are your children, you must back them up, whatever", sorry no can do, in the end they must do the right thing, I've seen too many kids screw up with full parental support, be it money, relationships, careers, they must make their own decisions.

Can I let you and FloFlo into a little secret.

The worst has still to come aged 13,14,15,16,17:eek::eek::eek:

I feel like my DS was an :A after reading about some of the tales on here.

Cant ever remember grounding him not that he went out much til he left school was more a stay at home on game consoles reading and revising in that order. :)

I had a few arguments with DS but I don't think he dared lie. I told him from an early age if he lied or stole he would turn out like his dad. For those who don't know my EX is an alcoholic lying toerag. I had more trouble with him than I ever had with DS.

Bet I would  if I knew what DS got up to now :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope DD soon grows out of it Flo :(
