I've been in council tenancy for 25 years, since my kids were born. Worked solidly until I had a mini stroke 4 years ago. (had 5 since). 3 bed with 4 kids house was packed, and now 3 have left leaving me my dw and ds2. I was a long distance driver, always have been. My wife is semi disabled awaiting a hip replacement, I can't get a decent job due to tia's and my dw can't either so we're both on benefits.
Housing have decided we have to pay for the extra room in our home cos it's not needed, although we have our grandkids stay regularly.
We get £129 a week to live on. So this thread is pretty much our bread and butter!
This government is a load of *****.
Sorry if it seems I'm ranting.0
