I have found an item in the 2 for £3 that does not appear on the apg it is the Gillette mach 3 shave close and smooth gel. There are 2 typres the 'close and fresh' does show on msm.

I bought the close and smooth to test it and the multibuy comes off on the receipt but item does not appear at all on apg. Need to find something that gives a good return on the 2 for £3 to go with it.

These were the best returns I could find all against Sainsburys

Dettol Refresh Hand Wash with Citrus Extract(250ml) 1.75
Dettol Healthy Touch Antibacterial Handwash - Cleanse with Sea Minerals & Aloe Vera(250ml) 1.75
Dettol Healthy Touch Nourish Antibacterial Handwash Liquid with Cotton Milk & Camomile(250ml) 1.82
L'Or!al Men Deodorant Carbon Protect Intensive Ice(150ml) 1.58

And find out who to go to for special help - my MIL is blind in one eye, partially sighted in the other, in remssion from cancer and has arthritis of the spine and hands. It has taken almost a year just to sort out her medical records (hospital appoitments/doctors appointments and reports) and get her accepted to bid on ground floor flats or bungalows.

Despite our difficult relationship, my mam has taught me some great things, one of which is persistance, although sometimes difficult, pays in the end :)

And don't tell me they're all vulnerable, have you seen the income you can have and still apply for a council house? Our local council estate has Mercedes and even a Porsche parked on it, and I know these are properties that are still council owned.

I agree with you on that one. Very few would possibly be genuinely vulnerable with the amount of support/counselling and free money they get!

Most of the council estate chavs who are on "jobbo" walk around in designer clobber and can afford the newest most expensive trainers whilst mere mortals like me who have to work end up wearing normal ones because we have mouths to feed and bills to pay and do not get heaps of free money dumped onto us!

Anyway, I am calm now. Honest. Deep breaths. :D

Spent a nice day in the garden until the rain came down and stopped play:(but I got a nice lot done.Runner beans in ,pots planted up and then decided to give the Arbour a freshenen up with a bit of Ronseal Wood Treatment I got at BM's cheap the other week;) Am feeling a bit sad as whilst doing it realised how rotten it is and think it is coming to the end of its days:(My DH build this for me 20years ago and so reminds me of him and deep down I know the only thing holding it together is a few rusty screws and the Love he put into it for me :AWhen things like this happen its like losing another little part of him.I will have to think what I can replace it with maybe next year as would rather do that than wake up one morning and find it all fallen down.

Will have a catchup after dinner so hope all is well with elite

    Hi.

I'm back - there were no Nouvelle 9+9 packs in the T store that I found them in last time (months ago), so I saved money and left with nothing - good job, as I would never have had time for my A shopping, the more important one, before early closing.

The half price Nouvelles, and there being some 'extra free' packs around, was mentioned here a week or two ago, so I suspect it has been and gone - not to worry as I'm not desperate for toilet rolls. The Disco crisps can wait until there's some glitch on the APG - I'm pleased some of you have managed to take advantage of the ones in T.

Thanks to whoever found the Nouvelles. Please can someone remember to tell me if the Nouvelles with extra free go on half price and coincide with the extra free Discos (and A being cheaper) again.

In A, I used APGs and GC. Sometimes the way to saving money is to avoid being tempted by the Nestle Chocolate Desserts. I'm sure they will go on offer again at a rival later on. It's no good spending an extra 90p that we wouldn't otherwise have spent simply because the lower prices we get on every item cause us to do so. So, this time, already with the 4pk Rolo Dessert from last time, I resisted them!:T

With or without them - and doing a shop vs M using my APGs and GC - I was a little amazed at how I fairly often struggle to spend much:rotfl::rotfl:, even with a packet of Cheerios in the basket! Blame those S/P items, made a little cheaper vs M.
