Hi there, good afternoon!!:) V. quick as still got to sort the shopping and Sunday closing (for me).

So the 'glitch' is therefore also affecting bogofs at competitors and making them appear and compare? Perhaps the '3 for 2s' thing, that was on last September, together with triggering Ambrosia puds, might suddenly work again today?? A thought only, as I've no planned shops on that sadly.

[Edit: might have worked yesterday, as I notice this shop was done yesterday, and hopefully continue to work today.]

Flo has your MIL applied for Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP)? Not guaranteed, and short-term, but worth applying for. Quote from Shelter website:

"Each housing/council tax benefit department is given a pot of money each year to help people who qualify for housing or council tax benefit, but are having trouble paying their rent or council tax. The council decides who should be given the payments. When the money for the year runs out, no more payments can be made.
Discretionary housing payments (DHP) may be paid weekly, or can be a lump sum. They can also be backdated."

    Hope this helps someone.

Thanks, she's getting bereavement benefit but that runs out next month, she's due her pension anytime now I believe.

We're in Wales so will have to check if what you have suggested applies here, thank you.

No , it works out cheaper to buy 3 and compare them to Tesco where they are 3 for £1 whereas in Asda they are 5 for £2.

Only some show on msm for A v T so you need to check which ones first.

I have a confession to make

Today I done a full price shop :o

Think the shock of having to pay so much for a shop has got me my mojo back though :)

Of course, I hold my finger entirely responsible

It's okish this morning. Looks ok but hurts like hell when I type, which will be a problem at work!

I don't know wether this is going to be national but in Sainsburys today one lad told me they were going to be moving every single bottle of wine in the store overnight and totally re arranging the wine section and as a result of this there is the possibility that some wines would go on offer.

they already had one end of aisle gondola with wine on offer tucked away in a random bit of the store and I managed to get one solitary bottle of wine for £2.99. The Australian Berry leaf that was reduced from £6.99 to £3 that we have been getting for a few weeks has now gone DD (no longer listed) he said this was all going to happen at 4 on Monday morning. this store is a giant mega store, fairly newly opened .
so it might be worth checking your store out this afternoon or early tommorow.
I've got till spits for buying £20 pf wine to use up, so hopefully so,etching else will go on offer tommorow.
