The most fanciful piece of anti EU toddle I've ever read. Few facts for you: EEC actually an idea of Churchill but due to British links with the empire France took up the mantle of pursuing European co-operation partly to contain Germany. The European Convention of Human Rights was instigated by a British lawyer and European law is heavily influenced by English common law. The EU has not abolished the British constitution as technically our constitution is unwritten. But to reassure you the Queen, House of Lords and Eton still exist. The nonsense you spout that the EEC is a German and Nazi creation is totally inaccurate. Yes Hitler wanted a United States of Europe but one based on conquest. However the EEC was largely influenced by France and only in the last decade has the pendulum moved towards Germany. As a final note it is only one primary parliamentary statute that keeps us in the EU which can be repealed any time parliament chooses to do so. There is precedent as Greenland left the EU. Hardly the Soviet Union!

Also, just saying "EUSSR" doesn't mean you win the argument. In fact it makes you look idiotic. The USSR was Communist, or at least state socialist - the EU is massively neoliberal.

For example, your assertion that "Hitler's Deutsche Verteiderungs Dienst Intelligence Department (DVD) still controls EU development" is 100% wrong simply because no such thing as a "Deutsche Verteiderungs Dienst" ever existed. "Verteiderungs" isn't even a german word, and never was one.

I'll exit the discussion with you at that.

You might laugh, but my local newspaper did exactly that with the headline "French to blame for potholes".

Only on actually encountering the story does it become clear its a product made in France, designed for French roads and highly effective there, but (wrongly) imported to the UK by Kent Highway Services where the environment is not suited to the product and so its remarkably deficient.

The fact that its a French product is irrelevant. Its not inferior when used correctly, nor was it designed to undermine l'Angleterre by a vindictive French Bond villian. No, just a stupid decision by a British organisation that didn't test and learn before it leaped into a wholesale new approach.

But I suppose the headline "KHS complete idiots for bringing in wrong type of asphalt" wasn't quite as catchy...
