Have you let the agents know for the house that you are interested in that you're now in a position to proceed in case something goes wrong with that sale? Not suggesting that you gazump, but we all know that the path to property purchase is a rocky one, and who knows what position the other 'purchasers' are in?

Yes it's the same ea and I offer full asking but they said other offer was very close to that anyway. I said if it falls through to let me know. It's so frustrating that we have offered on 2 houses and we have a buyer but we can't get either of them. Sod's law our buyer pulls out then one becomes available...or both do lol

Wouldn't be suitable to move twice in a short space of time with 3 children, one of them is disabled and we already worried how move will affect him.

The people who offered on ours have had an offer accepted elsewhere now...we will know by Friday if our purchase will go ahead or not. Us it worth getting ea to let them know that in case they want to wait and see what happens with one we want?

OP I really wish you well with your sale and purchase but I have a feeling you will wait a while to have everything tied up perfectly your way.

If you really want to sell and move you may have to give a bit somewhere, otherwise you will continue to have a buyer and nowhere to go or a purchase and. No buyer.

It is tough I know but it is the way things work at the moment.

Ea thinks if she rings they might be willing to wait....not getting my hopes up though.

It's just Sod's law that we don't have both at same time it's either one or the other but there isn't anything we can do about that tbh
