If i work i pay income tax,if i drive a vehicle i pay road tax. I just might not want to live in a house. No one is talking about not paying tax although i would say that as a free person, you should have the right not to. No,im simply talking about the right not to live in a fixed dwelling.
The system of things which require a house to take advantage of them.
You have the right to live in a non-fixed dwelling, but you have to accept that there are tradeoffs for that. Nobody is actually stopping you, you just lose out on access to those things to do so. You don't even have to pay income tax - just don't have any income.
Although I'll lay good odds you're one of those deluded "freeman on the land" bell ends.urs sinserly,

Can't you get it into your head that if you want a bank account you have to provide an address (not necessarily of a house) you normally live in.
If you insist on not having an address, then don't expect a bank account.
There are dozens of very good reasons for this, and none of them have to do with your (or your phantom person's) desire to live in a van etc.0 -
#33 Ive got lots of banks accounts,a job and lots of money thanks..im simply introducing and discussing the peripheral matter of freedom or what passes for it. FMOTL concepts may differ from one person to another and one mustnt assume that anyone who propounds FMOTL idealism is an unemployed swampy anarchist !Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

I didn't say they were all unemployed swampy anarchists. I did however say that they were deluded, and would add that they advance legal concepts which are nonsensical and/or do not actually exist. This, of course, is distinct from the question as to whether you can live "off grid", and that question has been comprehensively answered.urs sinserly,

From what i have heard of the FMOTL legal debate ,its not something i subscribe to. My FMOTL concept is different.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Doubt this is so. A UK/EU passport will suffice for proof of ID, but you also must provide proof of address. A passport is no use for that.
If you don't get asked for proof of address when you apply, it is because they could electronically find you (Electoral Roll, CRA etc) at the address you said you live at.
As I said some banks will just accept full UK/EU Passport and not ask for proof of address. If person is applying for a current account and address history cannot be verified electronically then this would affect what type of product would be available or could even be declined.0 -
