so if everyone was told that they would have to pay an additional £14 a week unless their car had 3 wheels ....

you mean like those who bought a road tax exempt car
then the rules are changed and they become liable for tax
or the cars whose tax bracket is changed leading to higher tax cost
    things change.........

    They are already.

    you being deliberately dense.

    yes the already pay more.
but from next week they will exp4ect AN ADDITIONA: $14.

or lets say from next week all cars that dont drive on 6 weels will have tp pay £14 a week MORE than they pay today.

i bet theres plenty of cars that drive on 6 wheels around .... ( not spare wheels... ones that need to be in contact with the road for the car to move)
does that make it simpler for you?

    Ummmm.... YOU did......

    5th May - Sunday.
6th May - Bank Holiday Monday.

Bank holidays may be little more than an inconvenience to you, but for those who work for the HA, I'm sure they represent some valuable free time, away from demanding clients.

my PA said 29th april was monday .....
so fridau would have been may 3

maybe this is where the confusion is .....

They do change the VED criteria. It recently changed from being based on engine size to CO2 emissions. Many smaller engined vehicles saw considerable increases in the VED duty payable. You must have missed that protest march.

Of course, those who have to drive also face the constant increases in petrol/diesel costs, and the associated tax. Have you not spent time with your placards outside the petrol stations? I am surprised.

Confusion? Hmmmmm. I think "downright lie" would be more accurate.

you are free to think whatever you like, it doesnt bother me in the slightest.

i did say much earlier in the thread that bidding goes from monday to sunday, and started on 29th april.

funnily you didnt see fir to correct me then, but just use it as su[[oded ammunition to call me a liar.

if it makes you feel good than go for it!

I've been nothing but consistent in expressing my views all the way through this thread. They're summed up by one of my earlier replies....
    Hmmmmm.... (cough)Bullshlt(cough).

and you have consistantly referred to sundays and bank holiday mondays.
yet when i kept disagreeing with you and giving dats/dates it should have been obvious that i thought they were not the dates of the days you mentioned.

so you consistently didnt bother to ask why i thought 29 april was a monday if you jnew it wasnt.

as ive said, your opinion doesnt concern me, but to try to make yourself look 'big' you prefer to make snide comments rather than correct an obvious mistak regarding dates.

as before ... good for you and well done!

The days/dates were pointed out by me and other posters. You chose to ignore them. Some might say that you needed time to think of an explanation. I couldn't possibly comment.

You making yourself look small, isn't the same as me making myself look big.
