Firstly i would be surprised if ANY salesman used the phrase 'perfect'. Possibly 'exceptional condition', 'excellent for year', but 'perfect' sets an expectation that no used car can meet.
A 'problem customer' is usually someone - and i've had very few - whos expectations are beyond what is reasonable for the car they've bought.0 -

I agree tyres are very very delicate things ...however in the thirty four mile I drove the vehicle I did not kerb or damage them ..fact.
why do i think i need a sweeter. Why does the dealer charge me £70 per hour labour when the skilled man doing the labour gets £8.40 ?
You don't have to be rich to be fed up with the compensation culture, that is pushing prices up for all of us, just because of the greed of a few.
So all of a sudden they have charged you now have they?0 -
wrong on a few points there jamie .Fault was after a couple of days and only 34 mile plus not kerbed or skidded.Balance weight may have dropped off but 5 times to discover this ??

You pay for dead time because the garage would no longer exist if they didn't cover all their overheads. And then where would you take your car for the next repair?0 -

So lets get this straight :-
They fixed the problem
You got 2 brand new tyres
The brand of tyres arent Original Equipment spec, so you're going back to demand they replace these tyres with Continentals.
AND you want a sweetener too?

Yup. To too high a standard if i'm honest. The problem with the motor trade these days is that people want the cheapest, but they want the highest standards too. Very hard to make money within those parameters.0
