I didn't waste that much time on it, but yes you are probably right. How does £100 and 4 new tyres sound so I can go and tear up a storm on my local [STRIKE]industrial estate[/STRIKE] Private road?0 -
Ask for 5 million quid then let them haggle you down to 50p0

I like the leather one, smells !!!!!! all like leather but has a hint of aftershave to it. My best friend works for a motor factors and every time I see her she chucks magic trees at me. I think she thinks my car smells lol0 -

The problem is that high speed vibration is not a symptom of CV joint faults until they're just about ready to let go completely.
They cause clicking or knocking sounds when turning at low speeds (big steering movements) because there's lots of internal movement as they turn at a big angle.
When driving straight ahead or with small steering movements (like at speed) there's very little internal movement in them (the parts stay in the same positions relative to each other) so they don't give symptoms because the're turning as virtually solid coupling.
By the time they're loose enough to give vibration at speed you would have been complaining about the low-speed symptoms! That's a non-negotiable fact of how they're engineered.0
