    Morning folks. :)

Yesterday was an NSD for me -- I got unexpectedly taken out to dinner (only my cousin, not a dashing mysterious stranger). Don't think I'll be able to not spend today -- didn't get to bed until 1am and lunch isn't properly planned yet. Ah well, swings and roundabouts...
LBM: June 2023. Amount owed: ~£10,000I've gone debt free before, I can do it again!

Not been a good start to the week for me! Am starting a 'from home' Access Course and forgot how much stuff I would need for my assignments etc...Also picked up a cheap Blu-Ray from work (though if I am really struggling at the end of the week I can return for my money back...). Mum came to my saviour with a printer as she owes me £200, so she bought that for me :D

Only have £4.89 for the rest of the week...So here's to quite a few NSD's :D

  • I had another small spend today, as had to get OH some deodorant, although it was half price, so only £1.57. I also bought some new sunglasses (£16) but bought those with my boots points, so not counting that. I'm proud of myself for walking away from the gorgeous Ted Baker sunglasses that were £70!! I didn't have that many points :-)

  • Well after being pleased about yesterday's non spends, I have spent today instead.

    Sun - NSD :j
    Mon - NSD :j
Tues - £9.16 groceries, £5.10 drinks with friend.

    Total so far

    = £14.26 / £30

Still under where I thought I'd be, and my friend has cancelled tomorrow's visit so no spends expected tomorrow now. The few groceries I bought today were to make a chicken and veg broth thing. But got home too late to make it so had to pick up a pizza instead. Will make the broth tomorrow so will have it for tea weds and thurs. and freeze what's left.

    Hope everyone is well.

  • Today was a no spend day for me which I'm pleased with! Difficult to resist the temptation to fritter money at lunch break though!

Hi strummergirl - that's the main reason I subscribe to the challenges....the thought of having to come on here and say I've blown my budget on things I didn't need! Good luck with it!

Managed NSDs Sunday and Monday. Today was £24.43 for DD's first driving lesson for her birthday (43p was CC fee...but the 5% cashback I get wipes that out :D ). Also £3 for the man who cleans the wheely bin

    £27.43 / £145 so far :A

  • Hello all

Thought I would start giving this a go myself

My DMP is due to start at the beginning of June. Monthly wages went into my new Nat West account today. How lovely to have an account that is credit and now I am ready to start the week from today.

Weekly budget £80 (after bills etc.) and still have £80 at present. Too busy to spend anything today--- and my daughter has not been at home (that really helps--- I know she is after a bus pass and money for a night out with her mates!!!) Not much food in though---so will have to shop soon. The dogs are on last their chicken meaty dinner too, but contentedly snoring away :-)

Happy to join you all :-)
