The discussion is already racist. That's what the discussion is in effect.

It's just as racist to suggest others are better workers, or we need other races because the british are idle.

You cannot get around the racist issue if you are going to talk about the UK attracting criminals.

Important to note though, that it's not the race that's being talked about. It's the criminal aspect of the individuals.

It would be unfortunate to have a debate whereby one side said all immigration is good, but no down side was allowed to be spoken about as it's inherently racist in every scenario to do so.

I don't think theres anything particularly racist at looking at the figures of how many Romanians are in the UK and how many Romanians are arrested due to crimes. That's just looking at facts.

I wish race and nationality could be treated as separate issues.

Farage came to Boston a couple of weeks ago as part of the common sense tour and it was, as expected brilliant - truly in touch with the British people.

It's good to see a party leader out and about in different localities. In stark contrast, we rarely see our local conservative MP.

Back to QT - Farage had strong support from much of the audience. As usual there were some questionable plants in the audience. I was particularly amused by the woman in the audience who seemed to claim that the reason for the Romanian crime wave in London is because we as a country make them unhappy and therefore it is our fault. You literally couldn't make this stuff up.

Britain was dire before all the immigrants came to rescue us, nothing ever got done before. I recall 2003 well. Thank God we were rescued in the nick of time.
    Yes OK.

The camerman/video editor certainly thought so.

    Not my type.

    I probably would.

    Vote for her, I mean.

Small point but you are comparing apples with oranges. The levels of immigration since 2004 are unlike anything in history by a long way.

Can you imagine the uproar if those immigrants since 2004 had been non-white. I must admit where I live the current bunch of immigrants blend in with Welsh.

Anyone watch Question Time last night and notice how Natalie Bennett (Greens) seemed to be completely dillusional and Luciana Berger (Labour) was very weak and fluffy - nothing really solid in her arguments.

I sometimes wonder how these sorts of politicians would have survived in the politicis of the 80s/90s with the real heavyweights.

Once again we saw Nigel Farage in his element ripping the EU to shreds. Think UKIP are going to have a storming local election
I saw Question Time as well and thought Farage looked like a tailors dummy from the 1970's with similar bigotted xenophobic views to match. I see the tories are gunning for the UKIP choice of candidates for these local elections. People who support UKIP really should look at some of these creatures...its highly embarrassing!

You mean like UKIP make up their manifesto as they go along and don't even vet their own candidates. Apparently one of their candidates believes zionists are responsible for the holocaust. Here is Anna-Marie Crampton standing next to your idol:-

You should really have a word with yourself supporting such values!
As I've said before UKIP are not a mainstream party. They are a right wing protest movement supported by xenophobic bigots. UKIP will ride the waves of populist protest for a few years and then disappear up their own jacksy making people like you look rather silly imo.

Can you post a link to when exactly he was "bigoted" (notice the correct spelling) on Question Time.

I saw the programme and must have missed it when I popped downstairs for my milk and biscuits.
