I have the veet campaign too, last time I waxed - it was a bad BAD day.. and I ended up sobbing in the shower trying to wash wax off where I didnt have the courage to pull the paper!!

No way will I be trying those regions again!

I would of loved the veet campaign, but if you do get excess wax where you don't want it use eye make-up remover to remove it, I find it works where soap and water don't :D

    Xmas Saver!
Just a quick one if anyone is in need of any cheap t-shirts. M and M direct have a load of Olympic ones in the clearance section, Mens, Womens and kids are all there, including some by Addidas, so good quality too. Some are less than £2, some just over, loads of colours and sizes, though can't find a code for Delivery (3.95). HTH

Nice to see you getting out and about. Heard you were down in Hartlepool recently:)

I certainly was Artha - bit of a rush job organising it, but, as I posted yesterday, it was lovely to meet up with whoopsiequeen. It has been difficult to do as much this week as we had planned, with my knee/hamstring going on me last week, but my knee is improving so hope to be driving again next week, after the lads go home, so will plan another little [STRIKE]raid[/STRIKE] trip into your area in the next week or two so still hoping for a meet-up

Was it DM who mentioned reduced K-fee coffee machines at his store? I checked in Hartlepool yesterday, and at North Shields today, but none in stock, and I am looking out for one too, just like you. North Shields said they could get me one in for tomorrow, for £89.95 less £10 discount but £79.95 is too much for me

  • Did y'all see this one?

SOFTWARE giant Microsoft is to row back on its radical new Windows 8 operating system after a backlash from users, it was revealed yesterday.

The firm overhauled its market-leading product six months ago in a bid to keep pace with the rise of tablets.
The familiar desktop launch screen — including the “start” button used since 1995 — was ditched and in came “live tiles”.
But many users found the changes confusing and harder to use.
Microsoft played down the backlash but admitted users had found it difficult to adapt.
Head of marketing Tami Reller said “key aspects” of the software will be changed in a forthcoming upgrade.
A return to a more familiar PC interface — including the start button — is expected.
One analyst hailed it as the biggest U-turn since Coca Cola’s “New Coke” 30 years ago, when it dropped its re-jigged formula in response to a backlash less than three months after its launch.

Hi peeps, just in a tesco store, not found any 1p items so far however just spotted a box of lindt bunnies, the small ones. Are these 1p, dont want to risk it as they are on the top shelf
  • I think it means if you see a cheap decent spec refurb Win8 PC or laptop, you might want to grab it as long as it has a 12 month warranty.

Rationale: people are opening the box, turning it on - then deciding they hate Win8 and sending back the PC.

Whereupon it is sold cheaply as a refurb.

I've bought 2 PCs from Bargain Crazy like this for silly prices and both have been perfect, new, unused.

Because in a few months' time Microsoft are clearly going to provide a fix along the lines of a classic look. Ie you'll download an ordinary update and then you'll have the option to put on a Win7 feel to your PC, whilst preserving Win8's far superior operating system (it's much faster than previous operating systems).

I do this already with Classic Shell but Microsoft's version will definitely be superior.
