DW had her Amex card used in Canada to buy a phone. Amex refunded the money no questions asked and reissued a new card.

A couple of years back I had my debit card stopped, I was out Christmas shopping and mid- spree it just stopped working and kept being rejected. I used another card and made a mental note to sort it out when I got home.

When I did get home there was an answer phone message from Natwest fraud, I thought oh no:eek: that's got to be something to do with why my card wouldn't work. So I called them and they told me that there had been some suspicious activity using my debit card, they thought there was a possibility that someone had been on a spending spree in an apple store with either my card or a clone of it.................it was me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'd gone in and bought a mac book and 2 iPods for kids Christmas presents. :rotfl::rotfl:

It is really good that they're on to these things so quickly though. Id rather I was inconvenienced slightly than some crook was off trying to clear my bank account out:eek:

I got the Veet Bzzz too !

I am one who thinks there is no system to how you are picked. I only joined at the Dove compressed and did keep up to date for a few wks and did all the surveys. But in the last month or so i did nothing and have received kits but not done anything really still have time to update b4 the end but got all these:

Dove/vanish oxi / simple wipes / E45 / Halls XS / Aero Bubbles / free from / Azera / flora cusine and now VEET !

My first campaign was in January? I think its completly random ! So worth joining even if you're not too bothered !

Gl in getting in ! :)

from Buzz I've had free from/ colgate toothbrush/ flora pro-activ/ mustard.

Tesco home trials have given me cling film and household cleaner.

Yes my eldest had rubbish info from 2 sources at the Nationwide HQ to say her DD would not go through so she paid the bill off. The DD then went through leaving her with £4 in her account. They then told her it would be returned to her account over the weekend but nothing happened. So she went through to the customer service departement, got it sorted and £30 compensation :T
Right I'm NOT suggesting people use this inappropriately. But today I was treated in an offhand/ rude way in the Halifax, sufficiently annoying me that I put in an online complaint (I'm not a natural complainer but the person was rather unhelpful).

Anyway CS phoned me back to say sorry & I got £20 compo :D.

They applied an incorrect charge to my a/c the other month and I got £10 for that as well when I got it reversed off.

Halifax, Bank of Scotland, Lloyds - all one group these days, probably trying to reduce the number of complaints they get
