This is something I often ponder.
I haven't had any contact with my mum for nearly 10 years, which is a long time considering I'll be 28 this year. It's not something I dwell on either, I've long made peace with the fact that she wasn't interested when I was trying to fix things.
But I do wonder if that will change if something were to happen to her. I suppose it's one of things that you'll never know how you'll feel until it actually happened. It feels like too much water has passed under the bridge to sort it now.

Hes lost weight though Im sure He hasn't been eating much. Hes very fussy about having fresh food and freshly cooked food. Hopefully only another week or so

At least you all had some good food, and hopefully he will be well enough to be home soon.
