Well you have until 09/05/13 to pay the reduced amount, instead of just paying it right now, look at the information given and decide by say next Sunday what you are going to do. This enables you to make an informed decision. And yes sometimes these companies try and use the late payment tackWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I'm unclear on the following (although I think I may have been told already and it hasn't sunk in, which is frustrating for others and myself!!)
How long do I ignore the ticket? Until the letters fizzle out (a few months).
When do I appeal? When you get the Notice to Keeper (as I advised on pepipoo).
*if* they do issue court papers, am I able to pay up before court so I don't have to go through it? And if so, will this be much more than the ticket cost now? Yes you could pay, but you shouldn't just do that! And no, it would NOT be a huge amount at it's small claims only (no huge legal costs allowed). But you wouldn't need to pay up. In the VERY rare cases of Court claim papers, pepipoo will write a free defence and it won't go to a hearing, the PPC will give up.
Answers as in red above. And we DO understand you are scared by the Court threat, but IT SIMPLY WILL NOT HAPPEN.
Best to get it cancelled by POPLA which means appealing to the PPC first, when you get the Notice to Keeper.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you haven't already. You will get their pathetic attempt at a compliant Notice to Keeper telling you that you have to contact them within 14 days or else (even though they must know you have 28 days). If they don't hear from you, you will most likely get a letter from a company called GPB after about 22 days. In fact, even if you send them a letter, if its anything but a payment, they will probably still pass it on. This happened to both myself and another person I know.0

Just to add a bit more.
I wrote to this GPB advising them that liability was denied. They replied (it took them about 2 weeks) to me saying they would consult with their clients (LPS) and get back to me. That was over a month ago so I don't think these jokers are anything to be concerned about just yet.
However, I don't think just ignoring them is the right thing to do anymore.0 -

It probably came from Roxburghe in the guise of GPB...I hope the OP reads this.....I understand your anxiety but cut to the chase and go to Court....Now isnt it just by chance that the same old crap got fired out by Roxburghe using the guise of Graham White who's name (well michael sobell) is now mud in our court..
Then all of a sudden Both GPB & Graham White show up on the law society's website as being at Roxburghe's address but neither contactable except via email pmsl :rotfl::rotfl:
Thats the reality of the scam !!!0
