Well all done. Ended up in an actual court room  but only the Judge and I and for a couple of minutes.

Now to open a new bank account and wait for the OR call.

Hi KP, I went into the court too.....I'm sure my heart stopped beating for a bit until he assured me it was just him and no jury!!

Here's to your new start

    Good morning,

Back to work today. Didn't get much done at all yesterday so a bit annoyed with myself. Will get through today and try to get something done later.

    Have a great day everyone

I had my OR interview and the OR was really good, professional and kind. I got no IPA, just a nil tax code. I finally feel a shifting of the burden. I almost skipped down the road today. It looks like my family has been given a fresh start and I am so grateful.
Thank you for all the fab advice given on here.

  • Hello, I went BR may 8th, & I've had an initial phone all from the OR who was friendly ....Today had some forms to fill out & send back to them. Is that normal? Got my OR interview on 24th May bit wary of it .
Just worried it will be leaving me a bit more broke & juggling
She did ask bout my tax office when I first spoke to her , think its just fear of the unknown
Thank you for any words to answer my queries

Hi wwdit. I also had forms before my interview but got told not to fill them in until afterwards. If you have any queries about them just hold fire until after the interview xx

Hi WWDIT, The OR is required to give or send two copies of form NTB2 to you, the purpose of which is to ensure that you are aware of a number of duties and responsibilities required. The form also points out the bankruptcy restrictions which must be observed until discharge is obtained and certain other parts of the legislation which apply to you. Then You must sign, date and have witnessed one copy of the form and this must be returned to the OR. And often with this they ask for 12 months of Bank/Credit/Loan statements etc

So no worrying and here's to your new start too
