Take time to review subscription especially on credit cards, it turns out that Which, the so called consumer champion, lured us into membership, continued to take £7.50 a month for 4 years even though they knew it wasn't been used. £450 for nothing!

Perhaps you should be reviewing all of the transactions on your statement. That way you can spot any unwanted subscriptions/contracts at a much earlier stage.0

How did they know it was not used?
Why has it taken 4 years to find this out?0 -
"Been Had"
maybe change to "Been Stupid"

You must have had the magazines through the door in all that time, and will have had access to their website too.0

Hardly Hidden was it, or did Which somehow obscure the payment on the 48 credit card statements you will have received in that time.0

We had not looked at the card statement as we were not spending on it and were were only paying it off. We review our bank statement regularly and I just want to mention people, as we have found out, that applying the same discipline to Credit Cards.
There were no magazines, once WHICH had signed us up they were happy to quietly sit there taking our money for Nothing.
They would have been able to tell we weren't using it, because computers are clever like that. It would have been the same way that Apple (a forward thinking company) contacted us recently to say we had not taken advantage of out free lessons.
Maybe should change name to Been Stupid, I'll give it a go0 -
again another trouble with the modern world, it was all on line, we only had a text once a month saying to statement is ready and as we know we weren't using it we didn't bother to log on!0

But what if some criminal had got hold of your card details and gone on a spending spree 4 years ago - you wouldn't have noticed and then would have had major hassle trying to explain to the bank that the £3k spent 4 years ago was nothing to do with you.0 -

You had access to the publication all the time. Did you ever read what you signed up to? Did you ever read the statement that you knew had been produced?
The only thing for people to learn from your post is that they must take charge of their own accounts.0
