Car crash ( none fault ) insurance won't deal with it

If you have any proof of them admitting fault it should be a lot easier for you.
Lots of companies would pursue this for you in most cases, just not sure how relevant your cancelled insurance policy would be in legal proceedings.0 -
My fear now is if the insurance companies decide i wasnt insured at the time of the accident and therfore shouldnt have been on the road , does that diminish Zurich's liability even though they have already admitted ?0
-
Not sure, my advise would be get some legal advise from an accident management company who will take control of the legal side of it for you and advise you on your position.0
-
Do you have any witnesses or CCTV re the time of the accident?
Have to say you sound well dodgy to me.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

There are no witnesses other than myself and the driver of the other vehicle, and no cctv that i know about although i hope there is ...
Dodgy ? ...... I've explained the situation as it happened, with no twists and no lies, although your entitled to your opinion i dont respect it0 -
Now to put you in the picture the car hadn't been insured for about 6 weeks prior as it had been cancelled and i was doing work on it for its MOT all that work had been done and the car had passed it MOT and been sold on ebay Thursday evening. I took out day insurance on the Friday morning in order to take the car to be cleaned before it was collected and paid for by the new owner, 20 mins later the bump happened.
Now my day insurance is saying they WON't handle my claim as my previous policy for the car was cancelled for none payment ( the last payment wasnt made on time ).
How did you get the car to and from its MOT without insurance?
Did you lie to the day insurer about having had insurance cancelled? Do you realise you're going to have to declare that to insurance companies forever?Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

If your not wishing to offer any advice on the situation then please dont comment as your comments and questions are immaterial to the situation athough i will answer .....
Day insurance was taken out to take it for its MOT
I wanst aware at the time of taking out the day insurance that a previous policy had been cancelled ( as already explained )
Now if you have no advice to offer other than a misguided opinion then please leave it to those who KNOW0 -

Why would you buy day insurance if you didn't know that your previous insurance had been cancelled?
I'm trying to work out the holes in your story because it may affect the advice. The third party's insurer are likely to liable for your damage regardless of the status of your insurance, but they aren't going to pay out without a fight. They may even use lie detecting software when speaking to you.
