If you use Ebay standard invoices (in seller manager) they actually state feedback should be left by the buyer first on receipt of goods and then the seller will respond.0

As a seller I leave feedback when the buyer has received the item, not when they have paid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
