I melt some butter in the microwave with chopped parsley and 1 clove of garlic crushed for 1 minute. Then spread onto pizza base and top with mozzarela cheese. 15 - 20 mins in the oven deep base. Delicious.

I make garlic and herb pizza dough and freeze it, then when we want garlic bread I roll it out like a pizza, top with some mixed garlic, butter and a few herbs, and then bake until it's brown and crispy. The dough balls sound good, I might give those a go next time :)

I always use cooked bread for garlic bread, using butter with crushed garlic in it.

A way to use uncooked can be to make a pizza base and brush with crushed garlic and olive oil, then sprinkle with a few sea salt lumps.

The best way of making garlic bread is using philadelphia type cheese instead of butter with the garlic it is SO nice.
Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

There was a good recipe for garlic bread on an Open University programme the other day. Garlic bread
Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Don't forget you can freeze leftover dough in pizza-sized balls and defrost and use as necessary.

Although the doughballs and philadelphia with garlic idea sounds yummy!

  • 1/2 to 1 clove crushed garlic, approx 20g softened butter, sprinkle of herbs (I like thyme), ground black pepper, and 1/4 french stick per person.
