Hi LittleBit,
There's an earlier thread that has lots of hints and tips on making homemade garlic bread that should help so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

Anyone have any idea what kind of bread they use in places like Pizza Hut. Its sort of triangle shape and not too crusty like the usual supermarket stuff. We love it but don't eat out very often so I would love to be able to replicate it at home.0

Last time we had garlic bread there it seemed to be from a fat french stick cut on the diagonal. When I make it at home I use part baked bread and slice and put plenty garlic butter on. If you put lots of butter on it doesn't get as crusty, and just watch how
long you cook it, go for a softer feel by baking for less time.
It's only a game

Hi Youngatheart:hello:
I don't eat at Pizza hut so can't help specifically myself. Might it be like a pizza base? Very hard to guess but I can guarantee homemade garlic bread will be far far nicer. Really any bread slathered with garlic butter and cooked in the oven makes garlic breadI have used Nan bread, pizza base, ciabatta, french stick, cheese baps - the list is endless
I'll add your thread to the grlic bread thread later, to keep all the ideas together
thanks:)
ZipA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

i cut french bread, spread it with butter mixed with chopped garlic and parsley the fry in frying pan until brown, i think its so much nicer than oven baked0

yes, i'd imagine it is ciabatta, just buy a loaf, or make one.. cut it, bung garlic butter in the gaps, wrap in foil, bake in oven... easy peasy!0

Does anyone have a recipe for DRIED garlic bread seasoning - like the kind you get when you buy a schwartz pack?
(P.S. i have a recipe for "normal" garlic butter)
Thanks in advance
