    Thanks All

Ive been working in the garden and working in the house. I am being really rubbish

I have been incommunicado. I feel very low and flat and am really disappointed that money isn’t going as well as I would like it to. The issues have arisen because of some unexpected travel expenses with work and the very slow rate at which I am being remunerated.

I also have an overtime claim outstanding and this has not been paid yet, its in excess of 190 pounds.

We have spent a little more than we should have with the expectation that the expenses would be repaid in line with their agreements. We owe some to DH parents who helped us out in the first place. Ugh- and I thought we would have it so much easier… I suppose it all takes time.

I just hope it all comes together soon.

21 months to go, of bloody hard work and wading through treacle.

  • Month 21 day 4.

I know MIT, I am forcing the issue of 21 months. I need to be rid of it all by then.

I should be, hopefully. Close as damnit anyway.

I just was at a low ebb, back to work, rain etc. My credit score has got alot better but it seems I am not getting any benefit from it.

    Plans.

Grow my own veg this year.

    again.

more thrift than I can shake a stick at....

Selling on ebay continues.. currently sitting at £15...

Get my totals updated and concentrate on what I can do, now what I cant do!

Cheers pat, know that feeling too, one day we will be able to rest on our laurels but til then....

    DISASTER

Prop shaft has gone on the car… I was sitting waiting of the AA for a couple of hours last night. I had just been to the tip with a load of dirty wood and now, I have no car. I was minging.

I do however; have breakdown repair cover on the car. I am hoping that the policy will cover the component which has gone which isn’t the prop shaft itself, but some form of an attachment thingy. As you can tell, I have a great deal of subject knowledge.

The plot will unfold in the fullness of time and I am expecting a text from the AA
to let me know. However I have heard from the garage and the AA have not informed me yet.

Other than that nothing to report. Theres a small amount of back rent due from the tenant today and my feted expenses are yet to be repaid however they are now off hold so the sky is the limit!!

Between myself and DH we have over 1000 to be credited between now and our next salary. Not much of it seems imminent, unless the expenses hurry up. That’s a huge chunk of it unfortunately.

Child support is normally between the 1st and the 8th of the month. We have a rent payment due on 4th which is just shy of £300. I have another work trip at the end of may and I am estimating that will cost £430 pounds.

Child benefit isn’t due til the day right before Payday, should help to meet some card payments. Money is much much better but right now, its backwards at coming forwards.

The end of the propshaft is usually known as a universal joint.

The part itself is cheap, but it can be a real pita to replace.

  • GOOD NEWS.

That thing what went on the car is being repaired under the insurance. I am not sure exactly what it is but the prop shaft was also in 2 peices?

    Anyway

I can collect my car later today or tomorrow morning and it will cost £35 only. Thats the insurance excess.

  • Excellent news on the car! As I was reading down I was expecting a large number to pop out at me and then I saw the £35! So a bit of good luck :T

I'm also awaiting money to come through before I can do anything. I hate waiting! Just hoping it does actually come through and i've not got a non payer (AGAIN) in the house! xxx

  • Boo at car breaking down and YAY at £35. My car is only 1.5yrs old and I reckon it needs something doing to it. It has a squeaking noise and I'm sure when I had that before in another car it was a ball joint or something. Also the passenger window will not go down. Heap of junk !!
