Month 23 day 25
No problem and welcome on board. wWill look your diary up tomorrow, this is a flying visit! I wish I had sorted my issues long before now, as my credit rating is too shot to get a 0% card I am sure. I need to settle one of the debts and it might be a possiblity.
Hmm.. ideas for the mini targets once I am out of this little rut!!
Am heading quickly towards month 22. Not long to go now. I am still on course to be debt free in under 2 years.. providing everything still goes according to plan.
Slightly concerned as I have tried to contact the tenant and she hasn’t replied. She has a heavily pregnant sister so I suppose something could have happened there. I will try not to worry too much about it.
Ebay is selling, a total of a fivers worth last night and a fivers worth today. The bloke is due tonight to collect the washing machine and I am down at the other house just for 40 minutes only as I MUST get on at home. I cant fight to catch up on ironing and cleaning and washing, so I need to get it sorted.
Also, transferred a little bit out of paypal, so that’s another £4.50 off one of my little goals and another step forward- it all will count in the end.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Month 23 day 27 - cheers dears, its crackers but it helps to stay disciplined.
Month 22 – 3 days, wow. Not a lot to report moneywise, I am lurching sideways towards payday and making small but pretty much ok sales on ebay. I am stowed off at work and at home as the tenant would like to move in this weekend and that has generated a fair bit more work.
DD2 is on a school trip to Birmingham and has spent 6 hours on a bus as there was an accident on the motorway.I don’t envy the poor teachers who are accompanying them! Mind I had a text from the school informing me that DD2 had not turned in to school and it was urgent that I get in touch. I distinctly remember dropping her at 6.15am, which in turn meant I was in at work for 6.30am. A returned text stating “But she is on a school trip!” and a telephone call later from the school and all was sorted.
DH has been solid gold. He has managed to get a discount voucher for the gas to be run to the house. This could mean we get the supply to the door for free.
We managed to get our quote from british gas but will need to have the work completed before we can get the invoice from the Halifax. It seems a little bit mad but I will see what they say and how we go about doing it.
Not much else to report really, looking forward to a weekend of work but getting things finished which will be nice.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Month 22 day 4
I must apologise for being away – I have had a load of work to do and it has been a nightmare. Moneywise I have paid all my bills, however the feted first month of rental profit has not manifested as the cooker packed in and we needed to arrange a replacement very quickly – will need to sort some cash to pick up the resulting joinery work as soon as we can.
I have a training course away during the first week of April, so will need to load the credit card to pay for hotels etc and then put it back once expenses are paid as much as I can.
Perhaps I will be lucky and we will have another free listing weekend. Have had one every week so why not….
If not though, I will make the effort to sort the ebay anyway. I have plenty to be cracking on with.
I also want to do some decluttering and sorting at home and get rid of some rubbish from the garden and the shed at the other house. I am off work next Friday and by then I want some stuff sorted I can take to the charity shop.
My little lad is playing football on Saturday and then has a party and my husband is out on Sunday night so I am concerned at the amount of time I will have to get things done.
No change there!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Just read on another thread that it is indeed a free listing weekend.
Hope you manage to get everything done and still enjoy your weekend XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Month 22 day 8
Work is still being a nightmare, and I am working evenings as well to try and get everything sorted. The weekend was so busy with the rushing about and we didn’t get a lot done.
DD2 had her 14th birthday and we are holding her celebration this weekend. Family will come round and there will be cards.
Ive loaded my credit card for the training course, and I am now under 24k. With luck I will keep it under there. If not I will get back to sub 24k in the next few weeks. Just got to work at it.
The free listing weekend happened, I listed loads of stuff and have cleared some of the loft.
If not though, I will make the effort to sort the ebay anyway. I have plenty to be cracking on with.
I decluttered a large blanket box from my bedroom and I have broken that up to take the the tip, my husband will be kept busy with tip runs.
I have been told by the Halifax I should be able to get an advance to get my gas in. This is really good news.
The local authority have been on the phone and have been setting up our rent payments. I will need to arrange the top up payments with the tenant but that should be good.
I have to go shopping this weekend too with teenage daughter. Should be interesting.
Ive got to disappear back up the loft again later and find some more quality sales. It will all help with the master planTrying to shift that debt!0 -

Month 22 day 14
Cheers HAW!
I have been poorly bad!!! Migraines and whatnot and have even missed dog training. My tiredness is only surpassed by my grumpiness.
Ive made a few, small ebay sales, however its resulted in 14 odd pounds being wiped off the totaliser.
Work continues to be frenetic. I am away in the sarf from Sunday night to Wednesday night. I am hoping the toxic cloud or whatever Sky news are screeching about is going to lift or my delicate lungs might explode. That seems to be panic of the moment.
I don’t think us north eastern folk are particularly affected by it. Indeed, we seem to have had mizzle and mist for about a fortnight, when everyone else was wearing bikinis. I think its only news when its in the south to Sky… BBC are slightly more regionally friendly but Skys coverage seems to be Cambridgeshire and south. They occasionally report on happenings in Gloucestershire but seem to leave them to flood water and cider. Scotland is “north of the wall” and left to the white walkers… as for Wales… is that still attached?? Leeds is a mythical city surely. Manchester is ok, as a huge % of the population of sky newsroom support Man U. However the rest of the north is mostly a desolate wasteland with the odd dark satanic mill. Ireland is a foreign place. Populated by leprechauns and guinness swilling rugby men.
Sky news, muppets.
I went shopping with the teenager. I had my eyebrows waxed at the benefit counter, (it was donations to a cancer charity this month) and I have bought myself a pair of £7 ballet style shoes as my boots were leaking. The totaliser is pushing me ever towards breaking another thousand. The next time I break a thousand I will see how many days it takes to get to the next one. I shall then try and beat it.
Moneywise, Child support is in- its minus £50 but in the grand scheme of things that’s not so bad… I owe £95 council tax oddly – the council are paying me housing benefit for the tenant, starting this week – have agreed her to pay me the top up payments and I am keeping a rent card.
Hoping for another free listing weekend (as usual!)Trying to shift that debt!0 -

[/COLOR]it's so true as well. I'm in East Anglia atm and it's all over the news about the poor air quality (which to be fair it is awful over the last two days) and my sister is further up north and had a moan earlier pretty much the same as you, hence me :rotfl:!
